Bought this a month ago, along with the Trigger Point STK Contour, the Rad Rod is by far the superior product. Another review stated that the middle section does not spin easily, we do not find that to be the case - it spins very freely. The only roller massage roller you need.

I have been using mine (and the travel size) for about a year now. Excellent and pairs up to their Helix product and their Axle product (I own the entire line now). I lift weights (not considered very heavy or powerlifting), workout with my bodyweight, pilates novice, yoga practitioner of 20 plus years (but, still a novice and learning). Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service backs up a fantastic set of products.

I had hoped this would roll better than it did. Just from how it looked and the cost. But to my surprise it was very stiff when it got to me. And it's still hard to roll out my quads, calves, shins, etc using this. Overall it is helpful, but you could get one that rolls better for half the price.

Very strong and durable. Rolls very smooth and is easy to target specific muscles.

I purchased my Rad Rod massage stick several months ago and I have also had the opportunity to use many other different types of massage sticks. I like this one the best out all of them. If you are having a hard time deciding between all of the different ones out there, I will tell you why I found this one to be the most useful. 1) It is solid steel, it does not bend. You can crank down on your muscles with this thing. I was using the Tiger Tail before this one and actually broke it. Also, all of the others will flex when you are cranking down on your quads-- this one will not. DON'T BUY A PLASIC STICK, absolutely worthless (in my experience at least). 2) It has a small diameter. This really is helpful for applying, and controlling, pressure in certain areas. Totally alleviates knee pain I get from heavy or voluminous squatting where my thighs will get tight and pull on my patella. 3) I like the Rogue bar idea they have on this site, but the fact this has just enough padding and rotation is perfect for the application. It is VERY smooth when rolling on bare skin or clothing. 4) Compared to the others, the price is in the same ballpark and you're getting a steel rod that rotates. Solid product, and has really helped alleviate tightness in my pain for me. Hope this helps.
