Rogue Pyrros Bar Stainless Steel Women’s Olympic WL Bar
Certified by the International Weightlifting Federation

Combining a stainless steel, 200,000 PSI tensile strength shaft with chrome sleeves and quality needle bearings, the 25MM Rogue Pyrros Women’s Olympic WL Bar ranks among the best in the industry for feel, durability, and performance. As no coincidence, it has also now been officially recognized as an IWF Certified women’s barbell; an achievement commemorated with a new Cerakote IWF logo on the shaft and IWF branding within the endcaps.

Each 15KG bar is machined and assembled in Columbus, OH, and includes an exclusive Rogue knurl pattern that's precision-cut for a firm grip without the sharpness or abrasiveness of many import bars.

Rogue spent months researching and testing high strength stainless steel alloys, culminating in the creation of the world-record setting Elephant Bar used at the 2016 Arnold Strongman Classic. This bar handled one of the greatest loads in history due to the length of the shaft and sleeves as well as the use of 1,000LB of 2" thick steel plates. That very same steel went into making our 25MM Pyrros Stainless Steel Women's Olympic Bar, and it's a difference you can instantly feel.

Rogue also offers the Women's Olympic WL Bar in Bright Zinc or Polished Chrome finish, available here.

Note on Stainless Steel: Barbells made from raw steel are not plated and therefore marks from the machining process may be visible.

The Difference of Stainless Steel
1

The Difference of Stainless Steel

The Pyrros Oly Bar is made from a high-strength, stainless steel alloy, producing a shaft with a minimum tensile strength of 200,000 PSI. Selected for its optimal "whip" and "flex". With no plating, the knurl is left exactly how we machined it, providing a natural feel that is less reliant on chalk, with better corrosion resistance than bare steel. Please Note: Rogue recommends using a synthetic bristle brush, NOT a steel brush, to clean a stainless steel shaft. Steel on steel can cause rusting over time. See more tips here: Bar Care & Maintenance.

IWF Certified
2

IWF Certified

In the strength world, IWF approval is akin to a restaurant earning its Michelin stars, so this recognition is a critical statement on the extra level of attention that goes in to fine-tuning each Pyrros Bar. After machining, the bar’s shaft is again tested and straightened in our Barbell Assembly Department, and the components are weighed together. Once the weight standard of +15 grams/-7.5 grams is met, the bar is assembled by hand followed by an individual test for straightness and reliable spin.

Precision Machining
3

Precision Machining

Every Pyrros Bar is machined in Columbus, Ohio, on new Haas machines that are built in the USA. Each shaft is ground and polished prior to machining and individually tested and straightened to within 0.015” (0.38MM). Each sleeve is machined to our exacting standards from a single piece of steel. After machining, all parts are gauged to ensure optimum performance.

A LEGEND'S INPUT
4

A LEGEND'S INPUT

A national hero in Greece, Pyrros Dimas owns three World Weightlifting Championships along with three gold medals from the 1992, 1996, and 2000 Olympic Games. He has few equals in the sport, so designing a barbell up to his standards was both a privilege and a great challenge. The bar includes an original end-cap design that pays homage to Pyrros’s Greek heritage and Olympic triumphs.

A New Addition to Your Rogue Arsenal
5

A New Addition to Your Rogue Arsenal

Rogue offers a wide range of additional equipment and accessories to potentially combine with your Pyrros Bar. This includes our Competition Bumper Plates, Competition Collars, and exclusive barbell storage options.

F SCALE™

The F Scale™ is a durability scale for barbells based on functional testing at stresses similar to what barbells experience when being dropped from overhead. Bars that have been treated with Rogue Work Hardening (RWH™) are designated by having an R in their F Rating™. For more information on F Scale™ click here.

OXIDATION RATE

The resistance of a barbell to oxidation depends on the type of steel and the coating. Barbells at the lower end of the spectrum will require more care and maintenance to preserve their appearance than barbells at the upper end of the spectrum.

Great barbell but aggressive knurling
Pro-its deff a great quality barbell and It rotates beautifully! Con- The aggressive knurling. At first I didn’t think it was that aggressive but now I see what the commenters mean. Training set after set it begins to take a toll on your hands. But the worst of it all is that it will tear right through your leggings! I’m now in the market for a new barbell bc it’s become a problem. I love my lululemon’s too much.

As advertised!
I bought this bar used - it's great. I'm an older, light powerlifter just learning the Olympic lifts, and my wife also lifts, so I intend to use this bar to get me started on some things and keep it for my wife to use whenever she decides to give Oly lifts a try.

Amazing gift
My girlfriend has been doing Olympic lifting for about a year now and I thought it was time to surprise her with her own bar. She loves the spin, the knurling, and just having her own bar to lift with. Highly recommend this bar to anyone on the fence about which one to get!

Love it!
I love how this bar spins and the knurling is great. I was hesitant at first because of reviews saying the knurling was too rough. It isn't. Get a grip and lift heavy. It feels great on my hands and I feel like I have a good grip and don't have to use as much chalk as I was using previously with our Werksan competition bar. Also, the IWF logo is smooth and doesn't scratch my neck up with a sticker like some other bars have.

Amazing barbell
I’m in love with this barbell. It was between this one and Eleiko, went with Pyrros.. the spin is out of this world, the only thing is that the barbell is a little rough when doing a complex. Besides that bar is completely worth it

Great Bar
Really nice bar, used one for a training session at a USAW event. Nearly the same feel and design as the bars from Sweden (you know who I’m talking about). The bar feels tight and connected, spins well. Passive knurl in the center is on point. End caps are a nice touch and appear to be of the highest quality. Even the IWF Cerakote marking is a really nice touch. Considering all the other six IWF brands use a sticker that will eventually peel. This is a really nice bar for comp, providing Rogue can get their bumpers also certified by the IWF. My only problem with this bar is that it’s too aggressive for training. The knurl is somewhat excessive. My hand were on fire after about an hour of use. Rogue should dial it back a bit and develop a dedicated training version of this same bar. This bar is a 5 Star barbell if the use is for competition.
