Rated 5 out of 5 by from if you have any doubt, don't A few months ago, I decided I needed a power rack for my new home so I didn't have to wait 30 mins at 24 hour fitness for all the social media people taking selfies in the squat racks. I did my research and thought, I can save some money and buy a Titan Rack for a lot cheaper. I went and bought one, immediately after receiving it, I regretted my purchase, and gave it away a week later. I then purchased this sexy beast of a power rack. The footprint is small so it doesn't take up too much room, I'm able to fit it on an 8x8 foot platform and still have room to do lifts outside the area. Definitely the best purchase I've made so far. It's worth the extra money, the quality is legit in every aspect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Solid, But You Should Know... Solid. Highly recommended. Versatile. Essential for home gym. All positive. But you need to know about shipping and installation. This rack ships via UPS freight. That means it's being delivered by a full sized 18 wheeler, not the typical UPS trucks you see in your neighborhood. This was news to me. So, those big trucks may not be able to access all residential areas. My street is one of those inaccessible areas. That means you have to schedule a pickup on a special truck that can get to your house, or go to your local UPS facility and pick it up yourself. That's what I did. Scheduling a special delivery would delay delivery significantly. I wanted it now!! The rack is packaged on a wooden skid wrapped in plastic. It weighs about 275 lbs. I had a full sized F 150 pick up truck and the skid is too long to fit in the bed lying flat with the tail gate closed. I had it in the bed with the gate closed and the end of the skid hanging out the back propped up on the tail gate. I didn't tie it down, and it didn't move around much, but I was very careful and drove below the speed limit. Removal from the skid is easy and can be done without assistance. I had help putting the rack together, but there's not much to put together as the side uprights are welded together in one piece so really all you have to do is attach the pull up bar. NOTE: before you bolt this thing down be absolutely sure it is where you want it to be. Think of all the movements you want to do on this. If you are primarily going to use the skinny bar for pull ups, make sure it is oriented so that you have room to kip, and also make sure you are facing the direction you want. I like to look at the rest of the room as opposed to the wall when doing pull ups, knees to elbows, etc. My point is, once this thing is bolted down, that's it. It ain't moving. You also want to make sure everything is square. Use a level. Again, this is a great piece of equipment and I highly recommend it. I just think potential buyers should be aware of how the shipping works. Your neighborhood may not present a problem, but mine did. Not a deal breaker, but would have been nice to know on the front end. But now that it's at my house and installed, this thing is perfect for my garage gym...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality rack and great price Bought this rack during the black Friday sale, and it was delivered the very next Thursday. I was slightly worried about the 24" squat space to feel cramped but after setting it up you will realize its more than enough to squat comfortably within. When setting up I would recommend cutting a board the same width as the rack so you can keep the legs square when anchoring, as that was a slight issue for me. As far as putting the rack together its very easy, just bolt the pullup bar between the legs and you're done. Once anchored this sucker is sturdy, and just looks really good. Very pleased with my purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Product!!! I have used some Rogue rigs in local boxes but never used or seen their Power Racks. I had very limited space in my garage so I purchased the R-3. It had the best fit for my limited space and still was heavy duty...also had great reviews! I am a novice when it comes to home gym equipment but the reviews are all right! Top notch, I have it anchored in my concrete and it is solid for pullups and dips! Plenty of space for squats. The 1 inch hole patterns make setting the safety bar easy and I lift solo without worry of injury. Not to mention I assembled this by myself in a matter of minutes! Awesome product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Rack Very happy with my purchase of this rack in the short version. After bolting this down, it's very solid with very slight vibration noted while doing dips on the outside of the rack. The 24 inches of room within the rack is more than enough space for any movements you may wish to do. The welds and laser cut holes on the steel itself is top notch, and this rack is far above in quality over any equipment I have used before, including those of commercial gyms. The only criticism I could have of this rack is the holes do not have the laser cut numbering, which as I understand is a feature on Rogue's higher end racks due to presumably additional manufacturing time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid! I didn't want to spend so much on a rack at first, but man, I'm sure glad I picked up the R3. I researched all kinds of racks but I couldn't find one with the footprint and features of the R3. As others have said, this thing is built like a tank. I bolted it down to my garage floor using only 2 bolts per foot and it's still solid. For me, I had to loosen the bolts attaching the pull-up bars prior to bolting it down since the rack wouldn't stay square. Once I bolted it down I tightened up the bolts on the pull up bar. I also recently ordered the plate storage accessory and those are a must as well if you have limited space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Well I go to the gym regularly but I just had my second child. Need to still hit the gym with less time now. This rack is awesome. I am now obsessed with this company. My buddy recommended and I was not disappointed. The only thing I would suggest would be for them to include the bolts as part of the rack purchase. I ended up getting them but had a little trouble getting them into my concrete foundation. I just went to home depot and got some different style ones and they worked a little better. Partly because my foundation was too hard! Rogue seems to be a great company that I will continue to order from.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Love it! I had a few minor doubts about the depth of the rack and how it would affect squatting etc. Hasn't been an issue AT ALL. The only "problem" I've had is not being able to do lunges inside the rack, but I've NEVER found a rack deep enough for that anyway. I'm 6'2" and have no problems doing chins inside the rack. I have the monkey bar attachment which adds a few inches in height, but I still don't think it would be a problem at all. All in all, this is the best value for money out there and the construction is top notch. I'd be extremely surprised if I ever need to replace this (unless I can convince my wife to park outside and I can take over the entire garage.) Thanks Rogue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You will not be unhappy I spent a lot of time and effort looking into different racks. I have used a wide variety and was initially unsure about the depth on this one. I went and measured some of the racks in other gyms I liked and found they were much smaller than I had though. I have abused this rack for the last few months and it has been amazing. I bolted it down to a sheet of plywood and have no issues with stability. It is extremely well made and just fun to use. I am just shy of 6' 2" and if I am barefoot I can press inside it which is also nice. One last comment, shipping was cheap and very fast. This was huge since the other rack i was looking at would have taken weeks to ship at a much higher rate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Notch - Quality that can not be beat! I bought the R3 & am in love - It's an all around great piece of equipment. I picked up some storage attachments and just ordered the Matador. Its great for pull ups and any kind of power lift. I am experimenting with the bangs and band pegs. My only complaint is I cant get all my friends out of my garage! Nah - that's the best part! Thank you to Rouge for putting together this awesome rack!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Delivery was timely, products arrived without damage. The rack is very sturdy, and easy to assemble. I appreciate the fact it is almost entirely welded construction (as opposed to bolts...more assembly work and not as sturdy). I hesitated to bolt it to my garage floor, but after getting it done I did not regret it. Extremely stable. J-hooks are well constructed and not abrasive to knurling. The rack does "sway" side to side a bit, but it is a fair trade-off for the additional "walk forward space" in the shins. I would like to add some vertical plate storage, but from the looks of it it could possible get in the way of my squats. Other than that an outstanding addition to my gym!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it I looked for a while trying to find something more affordable. Even thought of building my own. Getting spoiled at my CF Box, I just decided to pull the trigger and man am I glad I did. Only Downfall was the J-Cup Set arrived bent and unusable, but they are sending a replacement. Now I have to wait to use the rack. It was SUPER Easy to install!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal It's pretty rare that you get something and find no areas for improvement. That's the case with the R3; I literally can't think of any way it could be better. The dimensions are perfect for garage use--enough room in the cage to do any lift you want, but small enough to allow room to park your car/store things etc. The quality is absolutely top-notch--built like a tank. Very well thought-out pull-up bar configurations; excellent hole spacing in the rack; and the possibility for endless attachments. I really wish I could give this thing more than 5 stars. Couldn't be happier with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Squat Rack You really get your money's worth with the R3. This rack is built tough and can withstand a lot of abuse. Although my landlord is not a fan of drilling the rack into my basement floor, I have found it stable enough to use without screwing into the floor. HOWEVER, I highly recommend bolting this to the floor for added stability and safety. Working out without a spotter is no issue with this system. The spotter bars are great and the West Side Hole pattern in the bench press range are frequent enough to meet any size person's comfort. The J-Cups are also sturdy and feel secure with heavy weight. Lastly, the pull-up par is the perfect height for me being 5'11'' and the additional fat bar is a nice bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around. I got this for my birthday, this rack can handle everything I throw at it. From Heavy bench and squats to dips and pull ups. Power bands work well with this setup and works great in a garage gym, due to the small foot print. Very happy 46 year old man staying in shape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best rack for the money!! I priced out every single rack I could find on the internet before buying this because you cant beat the quality, price, and whats included, not to mention its made in the good ole USA. I have had this for a year and its held up to everything I could throw at it, even dropping 600lbs while doing rack pulls. The powdercoating is tough as nails, so no need to worry about it chipping, etc. If your thinking of buying a rack for your home gym, do yourself a favor and buy this. If its good enough for Westside Barbell, it will be good enough for ANYTHING you can possibly do to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't beat it! I purchased this rack for use in my garage. The shipping was fast (2 days) and that was with hundreds of pounds of other equipment. UPS destroyed the packaging from Rogue but none of the equipment was damaged at all. They pakage everything very well. The rack is bolted to a plywood lifting platform i built myself and it is GREAT. I ordered the Shorty version because of my ceiling height and it was easy to get together and setup. Great company and great customer service. They were in constant contact with me through my entire ordering process, even after it was delivered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Done Bought this rack as a space saver for the garage. The profile is as deep as our garbage cans can park the car and have plenty of room. Its made in America and groups with the bar and plates I was extremely satisfied with my purchase. Installed it and anchored to the ground and this rack is solid.I did have to shim one side due to floor level. It's a great thing when you can buy something and not have to worry about the company behind it and how it was made. The hardware says it all. It is made to hold a tank. I'm 12 workout in and it blows my programs racks out of the water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get this When I decided to build my own garage gym, I researched for a long time about what to get. I knew I wanted to get a Rogue product, and I debated back and forth between the R-4, and a squat stand. I can tell you that if you are worried that the R-3 is not deep enough, it is. And if you are only debating a squat stand to save some money, don't. Spend the extra to get a nice rack that you can do more with. I anchored it into the cement and am very happy with the results. I am a 200lb guy, and I do kipping pullups all the time with no movement from the rack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rack is good This rack is good but there are better racks that Rogue makes. I only have 2 cons for this rack. First con is there are not numbers any where on the rack. You are going to spend sometime counting holes to put the J-cups in to get the bar level every time. This isn't a problem at first but then it will begin to aggravate the crap out of you. The second con is the rack is way to narrow. If you try to box squat or even regular squat inside the rack, you are going to smash a lot of fingers. Those J-cups don't feel good and aren't very forgiving when you are exploding up from a box squat and a finger gets between the barbell and the cup. This has happened to me a few times now. Other than these 2 cons, I love this rack. This is why I give it 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I don't usually write reviews, but in this case I have to. It took me awhile to pull the trigger on my R-3 order. I had never anchored anything to cement and was not sure I wanted to. Long story short, my rack came, 4 large boltsat the top and 8 anchors.........SOLID. This was last night, so I have not worked out on it, other than a few pullups to see if it 230# were not enough to move all I need is my weight order to arrive.......NICE work first but not last purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All the goodness you need for solo lifters I bought this because I didn't want to spend time traveling to & fro the gym. It's a great rack. I especially like the one-inch holes around the bench/deep squat area as it allows for precise positioning of the safety bars - a MUST for solo, heavy work. The whole thing is solid and well made and I have no regrets for the purchase. However - the packaging could be better. When mine arrived it had a couple of deep scratches that had the steel underneath exposed and required covering to prevent rust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this rack! I can't say enough about how great this rack is. I find the 2 x 3 uprights make it much more sturdy than a basic 2x2 rack. The 1" hole spacing through the bench region allows me to bench without a spotter since I can put the safeties at just the right height so that I can bench normally but if I get stuck all I need to do is collapse my arch and the bar rests safely on the pins and allows me to sneak out. I squat in this rack with plenty of room to spare, I've used it with reverse band movements and regular style bands and it works like a charm. It is solid as a rock. There are other bigger, flashier power racks out there, but this one has absolutely everything you actually need at an amazing price. If I was setting up an affiliate I would probably buy at least 5 of these badboys.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent I don't see what all the hype is about.. Guess it's because I'm not a cross fitter. The rack is definitely beefy and good quality, my issue is with anchoring it to concrete. I have 3 impact guns and none of them are able to fit in the space between the mounting hole and the upright.. They also didn't inform me that the product was back ordered until AFTER I placed my order. So 8 days after ordering it was finally shipped. Then another 8 days for shipping, but I'll blame that one on UPS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality rack, perfect size not too bit not too small Great rack from Rogue. I was a little worried before purchasing that it was going to be tight to squat in. After purchasing it those fears were swept away. It has plenty of room to squat and more. It is very solid and stable. If I had to make one complaint the pin and pipe safeties get annoying to switch around from squat depth to bench depth. And they are even more difficult for my wife because they're heavy! Thats just a small negative compared to an all around great rack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Rack I ordered the R3 along with the B&R Bar and am very pleased. However, I was extremely nervous about bolting this to the floor of my garage. But if you follow the video that's posted with the anchor kit you will find that it is extremely easy to install. Once installed, this thing is a rock. Also, I had a couple of questions, and the staff at Rogue were very friendly and helpful. I will be ordering the matador dip station along with an extra set of J hooks any day now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hells to The YEA!! OK, I've set this bad boy up in my garage! It is built like a tank, does NOT wobble, and I use it for the basics! Military presses, benching, pull ups, squats, etc. The price is RIGHT. It's small enough for a tight garage like mine, and for holding plates I snagged the plate tree on wheels. If I was getting this for my gym I would want plate Tress ON the rack, not sure if they make them with tree on the rack, but the plate tree on wheels is perfect 4 home!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from R-3 Rack- EXCELLENT Had this rack for over a year and absolutely love it. It's in a office gym that gets multiple workouts use/abuse every day and never had a single problem. The close-cut holes in the middle are great for adjustment. Hooks are the perfect depth and height. Only change I would make is numbering the holes, but some white tape fixed that. It does need to be bolted down, so don't skip that part. Thank you , Rogue for making bad @$$ American products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeds Expectations I researched this purchase for a long time before deciding on the R-3. The rack is of extremely high quality and it exceeds my expectations. The delivery was prompt, assembly was a piece of cake, and mounting to the concrete was a breeze. Once mounted, this thing doesn't budge. Easily adjusted for exercises. The pullup bars are a great feature. The finish on the rack is really nice. I can not recommend more highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Rack for a Home Gym I shopped several different vendors before choosing my rack for a home gym. You simply can't beat the quality of the R3 for anywhere near its price! I’m 6’0” and 185#. I can do kipping pull-ups on it, strict pull-ups, and dips (with the matador) with little to move movement in the rack. And, it obviously works great for all of your Olympic lifts and bench based lifts. I would definitely recommend this piece of equipment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this rack Bought this rack about 6 months ago and have been using it heavily. I lift heavy and alone so it's 1 inch spacing in the bench/squat zone is key. I got the saftey straps and really like them as they won't damage the bar if I do rack pulls. When bolted down it's solid and able to handle very high band tension. I highly recommend this rack and am already saving up to buy more things for my gym from this company

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Depth is perfect. I read these reviews a 100 times before purchasing, because i was really worried about the 24 inch inside depth. TRUST ME it is more than enough. tThe space it saves is incredible, and you dont even realize its only 24 inches. Dont hesitate because you don't think it's deep enough. It is!! you will have to bolt it to the floor or plywood platform like I did. Easy to do and doesnt take long at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gotta see it in person to appreciate it!!! This thing is solid and compact. Has everything that you need. The quality, fit and finish are excellent and needs to be seen in person to truly appreciate it. Bolting it to the ground was easy with a hammer drill and the R3 concrete anchor kit. Don't waste your time with the cheaper crap made overseas. Get the Rogue stuff instead. This stuff looks like it is built to last a lifetime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Rack I bought this rack about 6 months ago and so I've gotten quite a bit of use out of it. It is everything I could have hoped for. Because I plan on moving sometime in the next few years, I didn't bolt it to the concrete but to a makeshift platform. Even still, the rack has been extremely sturdy. The pullup bars and hole pattern are awesome as well. For the price, nothing beats this rack!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential I've had this for a couple years now and it's still awesome. Very pleased. A few tips, extra j-cups are nice, a paint marker to number the holes(I did every other through the one inch spacing), and when making your markings to anchor attach the pull up crossbar at the bottom so it'll be square. You will not regret this investment. Don't cheap out, it could save your life.

Hello there fellow fitness enthusiasts I received my R3 shorty approximately 1 month ago, I have nothing but praise for Rogue and the quality of their equipment. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Rack!!! I bought this rack about a month and a half and I have nothing but great things to say about the product. I'm 6' 1" and weight 220lbs and put a lot of weight on the rack. After I bolt it down the rack is solid while doing pull ups, toes to bar, etc. Love this rack and highly recommend it to anyone from beginners to advance athletes... Hurry up and buy it...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from gives me the confidence to load the bar This rack is top notch. I had been using a body solid half rack prior to this, but I was beginning to become uncomfortable with squatting 80-90% max weight with only the safeties of a half rack. I train alone, and if I passed out or failed I did not want to kill myself. This rack is completely solid and I trust it with my life. This fit and finish is fantastic, super high quality. The fat/skinny pull-up bar is also awesome, really like the fat bar as it makes my forearms burn when chinning. I was hesitant to buy a rack that had to be bolted to the floor. I have a single stall garage so I didn't want to lose my only garage space if I needed to work on my car for an afternoon or something. I utilized concrete anchors in which you pound the threaded portion into the concrete, and then had a nut/washer that tightened down on the rack feet. This allows me to unbolt the rack and move it if needed, while remaining super solid. Although expensive, Rogue really does deliver the best value out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing quality I bought this rack in the beginning of summer. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and sturdy This rack works perfect for our garage gym needs. The only reason for 4 stars is because the first hole I stuck the J-cup in the powdercoat chipped off the back the size of a nickel. Not that big of a deal, but always disappointing for something brand new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The garage slab is my nemesis. I recently purchased this unit. It is awesome in fit and finish. Even the inside of the tube appears to be coated. Word of advice... If you are going to bolt it to a concrete slab use a roto drill not a hammer drill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Home Gym This rack is rock solid and fits great for my garage gym set up. With this anchored into the concrete, there is almost no movement in the rack while doing pull ups or racking weight. Everything lines up tight. I expect it to last a long time. I did have some of the powder coating flake off around the holes while inserting/removing the j-cups. Unfortunate, but I don't think it will negatively impact the function or longevity of the rack. One thing that would be nice would have a slightly taller uprights. I'm 6'2", and I have to adjust my motion for kipping pull ups to keep my feet from hitting the floor. I also cannot perform any type of standing overhead press inside the rack without hitting the rack. I think a "tall" version, possibly 6" to 12" higher, would be ideal for my situation. I understand I can gain a little more height for pull ups by getting the multi-grip cross member, flying pull-up bar, or separate wall/ceiling mounted pull up bar, but I'd prefer to have the height from the beginning. I could have looked at RML-4100C, but I needed the shorter depth of the the R-3, and the R-3 met the majority of my needs at $450 less.
