Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe! A few months ago I began the Starting Strength weightlifting program. Like most gym goers I was wearing just an old pair of running shoes because frankly, I just didn't think a dedicated pair of shoes for weightlifting would make a difference. I was WRONG! These shoes made a difference from the very first workout. I felt more stable under the bar and the soles of my feet feel more firmly anchored to floor.I always heard that Adidas makes a narrow shoe, but the toe box in these powerlift 4s is pretty open, and the strap over the top secures the shoe to your foot. If your serious about weightlifting do your self a favor and buy some quality weightlifting shoes. The Powerlift 4 is great and for the price you really can't go wrong with these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe, as long as you get the right size! These are great, as long as you don't listen to the suggestion to go up a half size. I did that and they were ridiculously large. Had to pay to return them and get my actual size. In talking with others who have adidas lifters, they all use their actual size, not a half size up. Once I got the right size, they have been fantastic. Sturdy and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe! I’ve always lifted bare footed or wearing “Chucks”. I had no idea that dedicated lifting shoes could make a difference, they do. Very firm and stable, just enough heel lift to keep bar path over center foot. If you don’t wear them to go grocery shopping or logging they should last a good long time. Description says go up half a size, they aren’t lying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I bought these shoes at the beginning of December and I love them. They are very comfortable and stable, they fee as though your feet are glued to the ground. I have the blue ones and they look fantastic. I believe the heel is 1/2”. I ordered the same size as I always get in adidas and they fit perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I bought these a little over a month and as my first pair of lifters I’ve owned I have no frame of comparison to make to other options.. that being said these are fantastic and definitely added stability and an overall sensation of being “glued to the floor” during squats, bench and OHP. Also I ordered size 11 which is the same that I wear for most shoes so don’t size up or down, at least it was accurate for me. 100% satisfied, time will tell with the durability aspect but they’re being used 3 times a week and I’m loving them thus far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Affordable and well constructed. I bought these for my 12 year old son who trains and competes in Oly lifting. He liked them so much I bought a pair for myself and my daughter. We have always wore Nike in the past, but the quality of the Nike shoes has dropped to the level of garbage - lousy quality, peel apart and grossly overpriced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best WL/SQT shoe for the price. I had the previous 3.1 which I liked. Happy to say not much difference for me. I prefer the smaller heel for SSB squats over the .75 heel of most lifting shoes. (The SSB really pushes you forward) I also don’t experience much knee pain compared to a higher heel. SSB is my primary squat movement due to a car accident. Also few of my lifters found this shoe excellent for low bar squats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First lifters I’ve owned These made such a positive difference in my balance, poise and confidence under the bar that I can’t believe I waited so long to get them. I used to be aware of my feet and the pressure variations on my feet when squatting, deadlifting, etc. Now I completely focus on my core, posture and rhythm of movement. Get a pair if you lift.
