Do-Win Classic Lifter
Black

The original Rogue weightlifting shoe, the Do-Win, is back in a re-launched “Classic” edition, available here in three colorway choices: Black & White, Red & White, and Blue & White.

As longtime Rogue athletes will know, the Do-Win Lifter was the very first lifting shoe ever sold through Rogue Fitness, starting back in 2007. This simple, precision design—with its 0.75” heel-to-toe drop, ample ventilation, and lock-down stability—earned a devoted following from the amateur ranks to the highest levels of competition. And while plenty has changed in the worlds of CrossFit and weightlifting over the past decade, a classic never goes out of style.

The Do-Win Classic Lifter includes a suede and mesh upper with a rounded toe shape (just like the old-school version had). Two hook-and-loop tarsal straps + nylon webbing backers ensure a firm, custom fit, and each heel is crafted from stacked layers of genuine leather. Like the originals, the effective heel-to-toe drop of the Do-Win is approx. 0.75” (19mm).

Please Note, however, that this exact measurement can vary slightly depending on the size of the shoe.

Solid but extremely uncomfortable shoe
I wanted to love this shoe, but it is probably the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. It is painful across the toe joint area (I think people are calling this "toe box"). And there is plenty of space between the end of my toe and shoe. Thankfully, I only wear these short periods at a time. I followed the listing guidance, which says "we suggest dropping down ½ size". I believe that is a mistake to suggest, at least for many folks. But I think even ordering at your normal shoe size might result in too lose fit in the heel just to get the toe box right. Otherwise, the shoes do look incredible awesome, not that it matters. They are very well built with a solid feel.

Stiff shoe, stable bottom, wider toe box
Bought the shoes a month ago and I love them. So far I have been using them with Squats and Cleans and I can feel a difference in my stability and power in the bar. I love the wider toe box, it's not quite as wide as an Altra or Xero running shoe but my toes aren't squished. I love the wood sole, there is something so satisfying about the loud SMACK sound they make on the gym floor.

Good shoes
Got these because I wanted them for the Pan-American meet and they had a bigger toe area. Unfortunately there was a small deficit but Rogue customer service were great and got me a different pair very quickly so I could get a few lifts in before the competition.

So far so good!
Been training (squat, deadlift, press, cleans) in these over a month, and very happy with them. They replaced a pair or Reebok Lifter PR's that were wearing out. I tried a pair or Legacy Lifter II's first, but they just didn't fit right. FWIW, I have narrow feet, and my Reebok and Do-Win sizing was the same. They are a touch tight in the toe box. These are super stable, and the multiple straps allow you to dial in the tightness as desired at ankle & forefoot, which a single strap didn't permit. They're holding up fine so far and are rock solid in heavy squats and deadlifts. At the price, I'm very happy.

Decent
Good materials but really tight across the toe box. Usable but hopefully they’ll stretch a little. Pretty decent shoe otherwise.

Very tight toe box
I sooo wanted to love this shoe! The toe box is so tight and constrictive though. I tried 4 different sizes but even 2 sizes too big was super tight on my toes so I couldn’t find a way to make them work. Customer service was very helpful when I asked for help. However, I ultimately had to return every pair and still have no lifters :-( For reference, I typically have no issues fitting into shoes. I wear a common 8.5-9 across the board.
