This is my third pair as my first two pairs have been awesome and lasted a long time. Unfortunately the first use of the brand new pair has caused the grip to tear away from the wrist wrap.

I came across these grips when I was looking for a cheaper alternative for the Versa Gripps. I have to say I'm really satisfied so far! The Harbingers are good quality, and they grip really well. I was limited by my grip during stiff-leg deadlifts and lat pulldowns, and the grips allowed me to push harder because I was no longer grip limited

I have used these grips for pull-ups and plan on using them for deadlifts.

Snapped an extensor tendon on the back of my ring finger. “Mallet finger.” I couldn’t believe such a tiny injury can sideline weight training. Almost said forget it and ignored the problem. But gave it a chance to heal. 8 weeks of absolutely no bending of the finger, keeping it dead straight. Imagine trying to grip a heavy dumbbell and keep one finger straight while the rest make up for the loss. Pull-lifts were almost impossible for a dumbbell and barbell user. After a few weeks, got this in the mail and it was just enough to assist the remaining fingers to avoid bending the damaged one. Saved my sanity and let me get back to the iron-meditation. Now that it’s almost healed it still serves to protect it while learning to bend lightly again. Well worth the cost. I’d heard using these can help concentrate on form. Not one for assistance, I honestly prefer a more natural approach but after trying these I can see what people mean. Never realized how a little assistance can make you focus on the target muscle. Will use them off and on after healing on the days where the weight amount is increased to focus on form.

I’ve tried numerous lifting straps/grips over the years, but none that have surpassed these excellent grips. Their design is great; very quick to apply and release from the bar. Most importantly, though, these things are DURABLE! I’ve had them for 5 years, and there are no areas of notable breakdown anywhere on them. Highly recommend.

Get some. These are a must have for just about any type of lifting, push or pull. Durability is excellent.
