Reebok Nano X1 - Men's

Vector Navy / Red Ember / Classic White

Reebok’s Nano X1, “the Official Shoe of Fitness,” continues the Nano series tradition of pushing boundaries and redefining what an all-purpose cross-training shoe can do. Built for any type of movement, this latest design introduces a new, softer Flexweave knit construction with a comfort collar, delivering all-day breathability and locked-in wearability with no break-in time required out of the box.

The Nano X1 also features an updated toe shape for freer multi-directional movement, an improved heel clip for max stability, and new Floatride Energy Foam in the forefoot for better run cushioning. These new developments, combined with classic Nano features and style, put the X1 at the forefront of both durability and versatility, equally suited for sprints, squats, climbs, box jumps, and everything in-between.

Very Disappointed: Product Worn and Dirty
I bought this product as a Christmas gift for a family member. The box was torn and damaged when received, but I assumed the contents would be okay. Once the recipient opened the gift and tried on the sneakers, he noticed they had been worn (which must have been several times) and they were also dirty. I returned them and since there were no more in stock, I had to buy them from another supplier.

Uncomfortable
I have had these for 3 months and they hurt my feet even during brief workouts. It feels like there is no cushioning on the bottom. I last had nano 8’s and loved them. I wouldn’t recommend these for exercise or even just walking.

Great Feeling Shoe - Poor Sole Quality
The shoes felt great out of the box and was initially very happy with my purchase. After only two months of use, the rear sole has begun peeling up and separating. These are kept in a gym bag out of the elements, only worn when in the gym. I am hoping it is only a bad batch of sole glue and that possibly could be taken care of by some type of quality control warranty. Too expensive to last only two months.

Comfy, Solid, and Lightweight
Good toe box like most nano's, super light and breathable, much better foot security that the Froning X1, and I like the white + gum look. Still prefer my Metcon's for heavy weightlifting/powerlifting but for anything else these are my go-to shoe. The letters on the heel came off but I'm not worried about that.

Almost Great
I purchased the for functional?HIT Training and some short <60 minute hiking sessions on the Peloton. I really wanted to like these as a great all-around shoe. Unfortunately, the rear of the shoe, I guess it would be the heel tab, is very high and rubs uncomfortably on the back of my foot/achilles causing blisters and bleeding almost every time. Not sure the purpose of such a high back, but I've had to stop wearing these for anything but lifting.

Terrible
These shoes absolutely suck. The heel is too high, too stiff, and curves in, making it very uncomfortable, and causing blisters. I thought they would eventually break in and become more comfortable, but they did not after 3 months of doing crossfit 6 days per week. Also the toe box is too narrow, increasing the discomfort. Terrible shoes. Previous versions of the Nano (8s) were far more comfortable, especially in the toe box, but Reebok went downhill since then.

Terrible Shoe
I bought these to replace my Nano 9's (which were also lacking in a few departments) and immediately thought "wow this is going to be a horrible experience". They look nice, sure, but there is WAY too much soul compression, especially in the heel. They do absolutely nothing to stabilize the foot or lock in in place no matter how tight it's tied (even to the point of pain). I use these shoes for strongman training, specifically in moving events and medleys. When it comes down to it, they do not stack up. Nano shoes have been going downhill for over half a decade in quality and longevity. If I can't move easily with a secure shoe doing strongman medleys, how could a crossfitter expect the same?
