Product Description

The Rogue MIL Pull-Up Station is built to the required specs of the Army Combat Fitness Test’s “Leg Tuck” event, with an extended width of 62” between the two uprights to create ample operating space for any size athlete (in the Leg Tuck, the athlete uses an alternating grip, and their body is perpendicular to the pull-up bar). Because this unit also includes the same 2x3” 11-gauge steel tubing and standard single pull-up bar (1.25” diameter) as our R-Series squat racks, it can serve as a dedicated pull-up station for any traditional gym set-up, as well.

MIL Pull-up Station
MEETS THE STANDARD FOR USE IN THE NEW U.S. ARMY COMBAT FITNESS TEST (ACFT)

The MIL Pull-Up Station has a total footprint of 48” x 67” and an upright height of 93”, with the pull-up bar position adjustable from 90” down to 86”. All required 5/8” hardware is included, as is an attachable step (connected via detent pin) that can be set at either 18” or 24” from the ground—matching the step heights on the Army’s Climbing Pods. This step also contains a large rubber insert that covers all metal edges for added safety.

The entire stand is finished in a texture black powdercoat, except for the removable step, which has an MG Rogue Red finish for stand-out visibility. The rear crossmember tube features laser-cut Rogue branding.

Please Note: The MIL Pull-up Station is not designed to be used as a squat rack. J-Cups are not included and the unit does not feature J-Cup mounting holes.

Add a Handle Kit for Optimal Portability: At additional cost, customers can choose to have our specialized Handle Kit included with their order. The kit comes with everything you need to break down, store, and efficiently transport the complete 146 LB MIL Pull-Up Station, including (2) 15/16" Rogue Wrenches, (1) 1000D Cordura Hardware Pouch, and (4) Nylon Webbing Cinching Handles. To use the Handle Kit, all you have to do is:

1. Use the provided wrenches to remove the hardware. The station breaks down into 2 separate sections (one upright in each). The removed hardware can be stored in the kit’s zip-closure pouch, which features a laser-cut Rogue logo in black Cordura.

2. Wrap a pair of cinching handles around each section of the unit, securing the components by using the handles’ hook-and-loop closures. With two handles on each section, it’s easy for two people to pick up and carry.

3. Set-up the MIL Pull-Up Station in its new location using the same wrenches and hardware.

Equipped for the ACFT

While the MIL Pull-Up Station can be used as a standard, dedicated pull-up stand for any gym, it’s also uniquely optimized for performing the Leg Tuck movement; Event 5 of the Army Combat Fitness Test. The extended length of the pull-up bar, at 62”, is roughly a foot longer than the bar on our standard Infinity Racks. This creates more space for performing the Leg Tuck movement, in which athletes utilize an alternating grip and position their bodies sideways / perpendicular with the bar.

Built for stability and long-term durability, these 93” tall units are manufactured in the USA using 2x3” 11-gauge steel tubing + imported rubber for the attachable step. All required 5/8” hardware is included, and both the single pull-up bar (86” to 90” height) and step (18” to 24”) are conveniently adjustable. The stand is finished in a black powdercoat with laser-cut Rogue branding on the rear crossmember tube. The removable step, meanwhile, has an MG Rogue Red finish and a protective rubber insert for its metal edges.

Very solid, good for outdoors
Very solid compared to everything else I've researched, and you can do muscle ups on it (need extra weight to support the base if you use momentum to swing up). You can also do ring exercises with it, but you need to make sure all force is exerted directly under the pull-up bar to avoid tipping the whole thing over. This thing weighs around 150lbs so it's still much more stable than any other standalone bar I've seen, but if you weight more than 150lbs, there's a risk of tip-over if you use the rings incorrectly. I leave it outdoors and it's certainly rust proof for the most part. only thing that's rusted so far are two bolts that are on that red "step". Would be preferable to have a drainage hole on the bottom bar that has the "ROGUE" word cut into it, since water gets it there and there is no way for it to drain out. so the inside of that bar is rusting and has probably turned into a microorganism playground.

Ive had this for a year and have some complaints
First of all, this bar does what it is supposed to. But I do wish they would have added the ability to add accessories to this bar. When you purchase this bar you are only getting a pull up bar. There are no options for modifications on this particular pull up station. Had I known this I would have purchased something else which is much more cost efficient but also has more variability. I cannot say that I would recommmend this because there are more cost effective options out there.

High Quality Build
Recently bought this. Solid workmanship, great coating, easy to put together. I suppose my expectations were a little too high after I saw a review that said "lots of kipping and swinging....no problem", because although it is great for strict movements and side-to-side stability is great, there is a lot of movement front-to-back with any kipping movements. I do have it on a level surface, weighted down with 240 lbs of sand. But I am only 5'6" and 130 lbs..... I wish there were extenders or a larger footprint from front to back.... Otherwise, like I wrote previously, a well built product.

Freestyle Calisthenics
I’m very satisfied with my purchase, the Rogue MIL Pull-up Station has exceeded my expectations. I’m using it for freestyle calisthenics, there is a lot of swinging and Kipping involved. I have weighed it down with 300 lbs worth of sandbags at the base, no issues.

Worth the bucks
As a gym owner in the past and extensive coach... I love pull up bars for extensive workout variety. This is system is best I can find and it works perfect for me as a 6 foot guy with long arms. I am dead hang with just enough gap to hang free.. and it is strong and stable.. It is on my back patio.

Well made. Will last a lifetime.
I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who is looking for the best pull up bar option on the market. I didn’t want a pull up bar that you had to drill into the wall or hand in a door frame. When I found this I knew I had found what I was looking for. This is a free standing pull up bar that is easy to assemble and take apart.
