Vertical Plate Tree 2.0

The simple, old-school plate tree is still the gold standard when it comes to efficient bumper storage at affiliates and garage gyms around the globe. That said, there’s always room for a little refinement. Rogue’s updated Vertical Plate Tree—built in the USA—improves on traditional models with a reinforced triangle-plate base, optional wheels for mobility, and re-positioned posts that enable full-size Oly plate storage on all three tiers. The unit’s new bolt-together design also reduces shipping costs while maximizing overall stability.

Compatible with any and all IWF standard Olympic plates, the Vertical Plate Tree 2.0 is equipped with six 12” long storage posts (three on each side) constructed from 1.5” Schedule 40 pipe. Each of the posts on the roughly four-foot tall tree are evenly spaced at 18.275" on center to offer a good mix of versatility and storage capacity.

*Please note that any metal-to-metal contact with the coated storage posts (such as adding and/or removing plates) may cause wear on the finish over time.*

Rogue Vertical Plate Tree 2.0 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 151.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, robust plate holder. I've been using this plate tree for a while now, and it works well. This is a taller tree than other options at over 50" on wheels, but that's the consequence of having six posts spaced far enough apart to comfortably hold bumper plates on every post. Sliding plates on and off is easy, and it rolls well on my bare floor with the casters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds so much! Originally ordered a competitors tree for a cheaper price. Glad it was back ordered because it gave me time to read reviews about the rogue tree and how much more plates it can hold. I asked them to cancel my order and purchased the rogue one. I made the right decision.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, heavy duty plate tree This thing is a tank. While it is overkill for my home gym, it is well made. I bought the wheels to go with it, and it is easy to move around, even when loaded with plates. It fits all my iron plates (2.5 lbs up to 45 lbs), with lots of room to spare.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy as hell but has its flaws. Easy to build and once built it is sturdy as hell. Wheels are necessary too unless you plan to keep the rack in one place. There are two flaws to the design On the bottom posts, there are two ends of the bolts that can cause damage to the plates if pushed all the way in. This can easily be solved by putting rubber stops on the ends to cushion the impact but it should've been something included with the rack purchase. Second flaw is valid if you have nice competition plate sets. The Powdercoated post finish has a very rough finish. Maybe essential for iron plates. But when you have the nice metal collar inserts, you scratch the heck out of the inside of the metal collar opening. Now I know the powdercoat has a tendency to wear off over time (based on previous reviews) but the plates will take a beating too. I wish they had the option for a smooth slick post.
