Rogue Westside Bench 2.0

Rogue’s fully updated Westside Bench is a heavy-duty juggernaut inspired by Westside Barbell’s original designs. This 1000+LB weight capacity bench is manufactured in the USA from 2x3" 11-gauge steel, and now features a double-reinforced 7-gauge steel spine running underneath the pad—delivering maximum back support and reduced pad flex. Customers can choose from any of the following compatible bench pads, at varying price points:

  • Standard Pad: 47” L x 12” W x 2.25” H - Made in the USA. Black vinyl.
  • Premium Textured Foam Pad: 47” L x 12” W x 2.25” H - Made in the USA from self-skinning, highly engineered polyurethane foam for added texture and superior grip. Black w/ debossed Rogue branding. Includes a black substrate on the underside for a clean finished look that won’t deteriorate over time. 9 LBS heavier than standard pad.
  • Thompson Fat Pad: 50” L x 14.5” W x 4.5” H - Made in the USA. Black w/ vinyl “grabber” cover. Over-sized design promotes scapular movement, eliminates shoulder hangover, and optimizes back and upper body positioning.

Version 2.0 of the Westside Bench also introduces a new bolt-together design (with 0.625" hardware), meaning the full unit can be sent via parcel rather than freight, saving the customer considerably on shipping costs.

The unit comes standard with Infinity J-cups, a 24” removable pin/pipe safety set, and side panels with laser-cut Rogue branding. There is 1" on-center hole spacing up the front and back of the uprights to allow for maximum height adjustability, meaning the standard 17.5" bench height can be moved up and down by 1" increments to serve a wide variety of athletes. Customers also have the option of adding elevated spotter decks that bolt onto the bench, giving spotters extra leverage and traction in case of a missed lift.

Best Bench I've Ever Used
Just as a preface, I have a 473 Raw competition bench and a 505 gym bench with a red slingshot. I recently purchased this Westside Bench after much contemplation. I added the Thompson Fat Pad to it as well. I can honestly say it is the best gym purchase I have EVER made. It is very stable, very safe, and the spotter decks are very solid as well. There are not many reviews on YouTube from serious powerlifters on this bench and I am here to tell you it is worth every dollar you spend. Do yourself a favor and quit monkeying around with trying to perfectly line up and balance a mobile bench in your power rack and get this item.

Bench is better than advertised
Was training for a competition 3 years ago. Full pec tear away from shoulder and bicep. If it was not for safety bar system weight would have crushed me. Not only did it save me from a possibly fatality situation it also allows me to push push any limits without any worry.

Monster name fits
Just picked mine up direct in Columbus, this thing is extremely beefy and excellently built! Is it a bargain...I'd say you bet it is based on the quality, craftsmanship, beefiness, and how it feels benching on it. The only issue is the directions are not that clear with the lower headside crossmember direction, and the need for a slim head 1-1/2 wrench for tightening a few of the bolts. Highly reccomend this true Monster!

Great but needs better instructions
Great bench. Made solid but the directions to assemble it are very bad.

A+ Bench
I watched a review on YouTube of this bench by Dave Capwell at the At Kurt Weidner’s Animal Training Compound home gym and Bill K out of Sylmar Ca posted a quick review about this bench here on your website also. Both reviews convinced me to purchase this bench. I’m very pleased with the purchase. I’ve been bench pressing now since the 1980s and I figured it was about time I had a premiere bench to conduct this exercise. I ordered it with the Thompson Fat Pad and the spotter decks. I also paired this bench with some Abmat Heavy Hangers and now use bands to provide accommodating resistance. Anyone who likes the bench press movements won’t be disappointed. My basement is starting to feel like Westside Barbell….Awesome

Solid, stable and safe
This bench allows me to use bands for my training cycles and at the same time allows me to use it for multiple pin press heights. And the best part of it is the wide bench pad helps to protect my shoulder health while giving me a wide area for my upper back to plant into when pressing the bar away from my body.

Spotter pins help you lift heavier weight
Spotter pins help build confidence to lift lots of weight with no spotter nothing to worry of the steel rods will not snap because the benchpress is meant to lift heavy on.

Like a tank
This bench feels like it could easily support 3,000+ lbs. My only complaint is that the holes aren't numbered. Makes it kind of a pain if you have multiple people using it at the same time. Other than that, I couldn't be happier.
