Monster Lite Spotter Arms

Compatible with all Monster Lite racks, Rogue's heavy-duty 24" Safety Spotter Arms are designed to protect both the weightlifter and the bar itself.

When adding spotter arms to an existing rack, dependability is always the optimum word-- particularly for athletes training alone in a home gym or garage gym . This is why Rogue manufactures its Monster Lite Spotter Arms from 3x3" 11-Gauge Steel tubing, with welded-on end-plates for additional safety and specially designed hitch-pins to lock the spotters in place. The arms feature a UHMW plastic insert on top to protect the knurling of your bars.

Like all products in the Monster Lite line, these spotters feature 5/8” holes and a 5/8" pin, rather than the 1" varieties of the standard Monster Spotter Arms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Issues on Fold Back Rack These spotter arms are solid and well constructed, as you'd expect from Rogue. Great quality. HOWEVER, I wanted to use these as safety arms for both squats and bench press on my RML-3W Fold Back Rack, and these don't work well for Bench Press. The bolts that connect the uprights to the supports don't allow me to put the spotter arms low enough to use for bench press, so I took off one star because I think it's something Rogue should warn customers of on the product page.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Confidence Building These safeties are strong, sturdy, and when I work out alone in the garage I know I am safer with these spotter arms. I marked 4 stars because I ran into a problem where the holes in one of the arms did not line up because the bracket that wraps around the back of the upright was attached at an angle. This prevented the holes from lining up left to right. I contacted customer service and new spotter armed were in the mail the same day. Excellent customer service. Thanks Rogue, I will continue to buy your products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very solid, good design I bought this to use with my monster-light folding wall-mounted squat rack. It works well for most of my needs. The only cons: you can’t use it as designed for Romanian deadlifts ... the bolts at the bottom of the squat rack interfere with the placement of the spotter arms. I still use them, but at a 45 degree angle and unfastened. It’s not optimal.(2) I cant get a good height on it for spotting my bench press. It’s either too high (so only half the range if motion) or too low (if I actually needed it I would probably crack a rib). The pros: it is VERY sturdy, it looks good, it Isn’t going anywhere when fastened down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from love them except for one design flaw These spotter arms are fantastic - really high end on my monster lite rack. The only complaint I have is that they should have two holes below for the lower pin - depending on which hole you put the top pin into, the lower hole doesn't always line up on the rack. When I use these for benching, I can't put a pin in the bottom hole and get the right height.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolute must for garage gym I just got these bad boys and man am I happy with them. They are super well made, as I have come to expect from rouge. I work out alone in my garage, I have the RML folding wall rack. I love it and these are the perfect addition. I use bumpers but these give me that extra security when squatting heavy. Also great for rack pulls and other assistance exercises. The best part is I can now safely go heavy on bench press. Love love love these and would recommend them to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome They add a whole new dimension to my RML-3 rack and am so happy I bought them. The are strong, sturdy, and work great. My only complaint is that there is no padding where it attaches to the rack; so, its been scrapping my black power coating away slowly but surely. I'm going to buy some really thin neoprene and glue it on to help stop that scraping. I'm not that worries about it, I just like the way the power coating looks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can bench, squat and deadlift AGAIN. Recently I outfitted my basement with a monster lite bench, a rogue barbell, plates, and a couple of kettlebells. Here is my setup. I am able to bench, squat and deadlift again, not to mention bent over rows, and straightbar curls. Since this photo I also purchased a easybar and more bumper plates. I am planning on purchasing a landmine to complete my basement gym. I really like the setup and have been able to workout doing barbell lifts 4 times a week since June. Prior to June I was using my powerblocks. Investing in this has really helped out managing the stress during the COVID 19 pandemic. I don't see the need to go back to a gym.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The one attachment you absolutely need! After upgrading my squat rack to the SML-2 the VERY FIRST attachment I got was the SAML-24 spotter arms. If you can only get one attachment for your squat rack...it's this one. These things are BEEFY!!! I was too scared to bench press heavy in my garage gym when the quarantine started in March but after upgrading my old squat stands to the SML-2 and then adding the SAML-24 spotter arms...I'm back to bench pressing safely and ALL from the comfort of my garage gym.
