Recommended by Kelly Starrett and other leading trainers and coaches, the redesigned Sling Shot Hip Circle 2.0 utilizes a new, stronger material to deliver a higher level of lower body resistance training. By positioning the circle above the knees during a warm-up walk—be it forward, backward, or side-to-side movements--you can strengthen your hip abductors and external rotators while training better form and alignment for your squats and deadlifts. You can also wear the Hip Circle during the lift itself to help keep your knees properly pushed out and reduce potential injury risks.

The Sling Shot Hip Circle is a great alternative to traditional mobility bands for this type of training, as it won’t slide or slip during use and won’t stick to your skin or rip your leg hair out, either. At a budget price, this is a virtual must-have accessory.

If you just starting out or are in the middle get the original Hip circle. From Mark's site - This Hip Circle® is a made of a stronger material than the regular hip circle and provides greater resistance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for warming up the hips I agree with the reveiwer before me. This thing is tough. Made for very strong atheletes. Also definitely go a size up than what you think you will need. I was able to work into mine but at first I thought it was way to small and tight. Now that im used to it Its an intense warmup- borderline workout of its own. But definitely unique and worth a try.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Usually a fan Hip circle 2.0 has a hard stop/stretch limit that comes way before the limit of the older models. The new material does have the benefit of increased resistance however the stretch limit makes it hard if you want to warmup your squat. I’m 6’0 195lbs and the Large 2.0 stops just short of shoulder width on me. This was not an issue for me with the original or grippy versions of the hip circle. Still a fan of the product but prefer the older models.

I got the 2.0 because I'm a fan. excellent for activating glutes and hips during warm up or even during work out to physically cue you to keep your knees in the proper path.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good quality. However. I prefer the traditional rubber bands. This kept sliding down my pants and it's not tight enough. So I would have to make eggagerated movements just to feel the resistance. Not worth the money paid in my opinion.
