SP3358 Plate Storage Pair – Monster Lite

Efficient, space saving, and money saving—Rogue’s SP3358 Plate Storage Pair bolts conveniently to your existing Monster Lite rig, adding more than 180LB of additional storage capacity on each 13” pin.

The SP3358 Plate Storage Pair comes with the necessary 5/8” hardware, allowing for easy set up in a matter of minutes. And for a training center or garage gym with limited square footage, it’s an excellent alternative to purchasing a separate stand-alone plate storage shelf.

While the SP3358 pins are intended for use with the Monster Lite Rigs & Racks only, owners of the Rogue Echo, Infinity, or standard Monster Series can order their own separate versions of these storage posts with the appropriate hardware included.

Strong pegs but poor design
I don't like how the plates go right up against the bolts. It scrapes up and makes my expensive rogue plates look bad. I don't care that much and will still use them... but plastic bolt covers should at least be included.

Peeling
After 6 months of use it has slowly been peeling away leaving a mess after every workout. What gives?

Well Made, Dislike the Hardware
Like all Rogue equipment these are bombproof and easy to install. However I dislike the hex head bolts because they damage the finish on the plates when you re-rack them (hence the 4 stars). These should come with carriage bolts with a smooth oval head and the holes in the flange should be punched square to accept the carriage bolts. For the price some better hardware is warranted.

Solid. Easy to attach.
The plastic caps are great for preventing your plates from getting dinged when placing them on the piece.

Efficient solution
These work really well, save space and seem almost non-slip. The bold warning not to misuse them is hilarious though.

Stout & Study; Mind the Space
These are formidable posts that do what they say on the tin: store your weights. I installed these facing the rear wall behind my SML-2 Squat Stand after trying several configurations that weren’t amenable to squats or chest presses. Although the photo shows them facing to the left and right of the uprights, this spot didn’t last in the long run. If you’re on a proper rack rather than stand, installing them to the rear set of uprights ought to alleviate any issue. Ultimately, they keep the garage gym tidy without sacrificing space which is exactly why you should buy them.
