  • 1Custom Cerakote Color Options

This is our first pull-up bar available in exclusive Cerakote color finishes. Cerakote is used widely in the gun industry for its remarkable durability in thin applications, and it delivers superb abrasion/wear/corrosion resistance over time—100X that of standard black zinc. Match your bar to your existing rack, a team color scheme, etc.

A stainless steel version is available at a reduced price, and does NOT include the Rogue logo.

  • 2Knurl Option

Both the Cerakote and stainless steel Socket Pull-Up Bar can be ordered in your choice of a Smooth (no knurl) or Knurled version. The knurled bar features a smooth center portion that’s 17.4" wide, with dual knurl marks on each end that match the spacing on standard Olympic and Powerlifting barbells. The knurl pattern is firm enough for a reliable added grip, but non-abrasive.

  • 3Quality Rogue Construction

The Monster Lite Socket Pull-Up Bar is a single, solid round bar, precision machined in the USA using 7-gauge steel. It’s compatible with any 43” space on a Monster Lite Series rack or rig, and is equipped with a pair of durable mounting sockets to insure its stability after installation. Two button-head screws lock the bar into the sockets to prevent spinning (a 7/32” allen wrench is required to tighten), and all needed hardware is provided and finished in Black Zinc. The combined weight of the pull-up bar and sockets (excluding the hardware) is 16LB.

  • 4Interchangeability

Customers wishing to purchase multiple Socket Pull-Up Bars of different finishes can swap out one bar for another inside any compatible rack/rig. This allows multiple athletes to switch out bars with/without knurling, or to change colors if a certain team is coming in to train. The bar will need to be dis-assembled from the rack before making a swap.

  • 5Part of the Rogue Family

The Socket Pull-Up Bar is part of growing arsenal of Rogue weight training equipment featuring new color finish options. You can customize your entire gym with a Cerakote Ohio Bar, Cerakote Bella Bar, or a Monster Lite Power Rack in a range of semi-gloss color finishes.

Rogue Monster Lite Socket Pull-up Bar is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from AGGRESSIVE knurling The knurling is very aggressive on this pull-up bar! I have the Ohio olympic bar and Echo 2.0 bar and do enough lifts with those to form callused hands. I also do pull-ups on my RML-390F rack with the fat/skinny combo pull-up bars without issue. Despite that, my hands aren't tough enough for the knurled version of this socket pull-up bar...the knurling is really aggressive when you apply your body weight off of it. If I had to do it again, I would definitely go with the smooth version. It is a beautiful bar though!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Socket pull up bar The bar is a great bar, but the information on the listing is a little confusing. In case you might not understand exactly what Rogue means, no “socket” means no brackets to put the bar on the rig with, so it’s just the straight bar part. I thought it mean no bolds and mounting hardware. At the time I bought the bar, NONE of the sockets/hardware were in stock for any of the rig types, so i couldn’t even have bought it even if I wanted. I’m still wondering why it wasn’t temporarily taken off the website for that reason. Either way, it’s Rogue made, which is great quality. The chrome bar is slick from oil or something from the manufacturer but I know from previous experiences with Rogue barbells that this will go away with use. I’ll be really happy with it, if I can ever get the mounting hardware in. Ugh

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for smaller hands Easy to install. Beautiful red finish. Enjoying the smooth and knurled options on the bar. The knurled areas do not dig into my hands. Excellent purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple Bar but high quality Got the bar to add to my Rack since it was on sale. The quality is top notch, the paint job superb and simply bullet proof. I got the red one and it pops. Every time i look at it i want to do some pull ups and chin ups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Knurling changes pullups for the better I went back and forth trying to decide between knurling or not for a year and finally decided on the knurled cerakote bar. Overall, I think I made the right choice. The smooth center of the bar is more comfortable, but the pullup feels less stable. As another said, the knurling “locks” your hands in. Hands that don’t slide allow just a little more force to go into the pullup itself (i.e. it reduces “energy leaks”). To my surprise, the biggest “issue” I have is when I let go of the bar. Initially grasing the bar digs into my hands as expected. Releasing the bar from a hanging position causes the knurling to scrape my fingers and hands. It’s not a huge deal but hurts a little and will take some time to get used to. So again, overall the knurling is probably best long term for people who work out with barbells. That just means a little more pain and callus building in the short term.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pull up bar I bought the stainless steel version, the knurling seems more aggressive than the black zinc Ohio bar’s. Takes some getting used to when switching from the smooth powder coated bar that came with my rack, but not in a bad way. It really locks you in and that’s what I wanted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As Advertised Great pull-up bar with slightly less diameter than the stock bar with my HR2. Perfect for me with smaller hands. Knurling is noticeable, but not too bad. This also allowed me to use the other bar as a crossmember that has helped to stabilize the half rack further. No magic here -just a pull-up bar, but a good add if you have some extra cash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy on the hands... Make pull ups about back strength not hand pain! Love it.
