Rogue Wrist Roller

Available in both a rack-mounted and handheld/portable version, the Rogue Wrist Roller is a forearm and grip strength training tool that goes beyond traditional wrist curls.

Both versions of the Wrist Roller are manufactured from quality steel with 2” diameter, 6" handles and a durable 58.5” nylon strap and carabiner. For set-up, the user should place the Roller at shoulder level, either hooking the lower end of the strap through a kettlebell or using a loading pin to add their desired weight in plates. Carefully rotating the Wrist Roller's handles forward or backward will raise and lower the attached weight incrementally, creating a dynamic type of flexion and extension movement ideal for building stronger forearms.

The Rack Mount Wrist Roller is compatible with all 3x3” Monster Lite uprights and can also be easily retro-fitted for 2x3" Infinity units by using our optional adapter kit.* Each roller comes with shaft collars, a mounting panel, and a detent pin for a quick, secure set-up. The handheld version features the same design without the collars or mounting section, and can work different muscle groups—particularly the shoulders—since the user won’t have the aid of a rack in stabilizing the roller in front of them.

*Infinity Series Retro-Fit Kit: Owners of an Infinity rig or rack can add this kit to their order via the column on the right. It includes two UHMW plastic pieces and four screws to secure the plastic to the clasp of each unit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Underwhelmed I bought the rack mounted wrist roller. Three stars because it works, fits in the rack well, looks durable, etc. However, I was hoping for an upgrade over using a band wrapped around my barbell sleeve. Sadly, it's not. My issues are the same as in other reviews: 1. The strap attachment causes a big hump in the resistance curve. 2. The powder coat finish is too smooth, making grip more of a limiter than the wrists 3. The bearing mechanism has a lot of friction, making the negative feel too light For a Rogue product made in America, I expected more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a true forearm builder! I raced pro motocross from early 70s into the mid 80s. To maintain and build the endurance of your grip and forearm strength, I used to use a device at my local gyn. Similar to this minus the cable (inplace of a strap) let you connect to the flat weights on gym equipment. It has increments from 10 lbs all the way up to 75 lbs. Back then I could roll up and down at the full 75 lb weight for roughly 20-30 minutes. Well today, Im a wee bit older, but excited to see something thats comparable to what I used back then. Cannot wait to see how long I can roll up and down maybe 15/20 lbs as a start on getting some of my grip back. Not to mention help with my arthritic hands today!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Freaking Awesome! This thing is a beast! Works beautifully! Only thing I am waiting for is the Monster Rack attachment for more isolation. Other than that, the hand held suspension is great for building supporting muscle and shoulder strength! Not one complaint!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Perfect But May Be What You're Looking For Like most Rogue equipment this is a solid piece of kit overall. I specifically bought this wrist roller because it doesn't have knurling which is a difficult feature to find. It has nice thick handles in textured powder coat finish which provide challenging grip training with just enough texture that it's not slipping out of your hands--exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately it does have a fairly annoying design flaw. The strap connects to the roller itself using an off-center bar, which causes two issues, one minor and the other significant: Due to the off-center connection the roller doesn't roll smoothly, with a difference in resistance every time you wind around to the bump caused by the bar (Not a big deal). Much more annoying, as the weight reels in and the strap winds around the roller, the bump caused by the bar causes the strap to overspill the valley of the roller on the last few rolls, sending the weight off balance and usually resulting in a reverse roll to get it back on track. This isn't a major issue by any means, but it does get really annoying doing multiple sets. It's a very easy issue to fix, just increase the diameter of the guards on either side of the bar. For some reason Rogue seemed to assume the tool will be used held straight out from the body where one would have more space to play with before the strap overlaps, but anyone that's ever used a wrist roller knows you hold it by your waist if you want to get anything done. Other than that, it does what it says on the tin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I have purchased a lot of Rogue products over the last several months and this is really the only one I am disappointed with. Poor grip and a challenge to get good technique as a result. Baffled as to why there isn’t a rack mounted version for my Monster Rack. Without a rack mount I am not too sure I would by it again. For the cost I would have expected more. Didn’t give it 1 star only because it is built like every other Rogue item and will last forever. Spend your money on something else though

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Totally awesome, just took too long to get it Built rugged, well priced and much heavier duty than I thought. Well worth the money. will last 3 lifetimes. As far as the wait, it took way to long to get this. Demand is huge, build them and take them off the shelf. Need more people, hire, relocate them to Columbus, get these items out the door!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Provides a great forearm workout! I contemplated getting the rack mount version but went with just the handheld. I attached a 10lb plate and it give a great workout. I stand on a bench to give added length to the floor. Another secret is to use a band attached to your rack or something stationary and then attach the other end to a carabiner attached to the wrist roller. Major pump!!
