Assault AirBike

Finally, a heavy-duty exercise bike designed directly from the feedback of athletes and coaches. The Assault AirBike reinvents and retools nearly every component of the traditional fan bike, from the frame construction to the crank, pedals, monitor and more. The series is designed and tested in the USA by the experienced team at LifeCORE Fitness in Carlsbad, California.

Using air resistance, the Assault AirBike scales automatically to how hard you want to work. The harder you pedal, the greater the resistance. It's simple physics with big benefits.

  • Heavy Duty Steel Frame eliminates side-to-side movement
  • 25" diameter steel fan
  • Hybrid seat with multi-adjustment options
  • Industrial powder coating for durability

Compatible with Shimano Bike Accessories Customers can further customize their bike with the addition of any of the following high-quality Shimano bike accessories available from Rogue:

  • 1Instant Customization

The great thing about the Assault AirBike is that it can work for a beginner, a rehabbing athlete, or a seasoned pro training at the highest levels of competition—no matter their sport, body type, or ambition. While fanbikes have existed for nearly half a century, modern advances in their design and function have made them increasingly in-demand among military personnel, pro and college sports teams, competitive cyclists and sprinters, and high performance athletes from the cross-training ranks. The key: you set your own pace. The resistance adapts to your own output, and the bike’s multiple, custom seat adjustments make for a more comfortable, customized ride.

  • 2Advanced Tech and LCD Display

In the age of smartphones and tablets, an old-fashioned, clunky fitness bike monitor simply doesn’t cut it. The Assault AirBike’s state-of-the-art LCD display console is still easy to navigate at the push of a button, but your customization options—from on-board programs to instant, multi-faceted monitor feedback—is almost limitless. Athletes can simultaneously track their heart rate, speed, RPM, time, calories burned, and more. Even watts can be monitored with precision accuracy, thanks to the AirBike’s 20-horsepower electric motor and carefully calibrated torque measurement meter. You won’t just feel the effects of a good workout, you’ll be able to see the science behind it in real time.

  • 3Quality Construction, Max Durability

LifeCORE threw out many of the old stationary bike manufacturing methods and focused on a powerful new 21st century bike that could handle daily abuse at the best gyms in the world. Each bike is equipped with a thick-gauge chro-moly steel frame, with at least 1-2 sealed cartridge bearings in EVERY single pivot—from the flywheels and pedals to the bottom bracket and linkage arms. There are over 20 bearings in all, unmatched by most fitness bikes in the industry. The goal isn’t just reliability—it’s zero wobble and zero maintenance required over thousands of hours of use.

  • 4Part of a Complete Workout

Whether you train out of a garage gym or run your own large-scale facility, the AirBike’s quiet ride and versatility make it a great companion piece to some of the other top endurance machines in the industry, as well as essential Rogue conditioning products like Rogue Medballs, the SR-1 Speed Rope, and the Wise-Crack AbMat.

  • 5Step-by-Step Guided Assembly

The Assault AirBike ships with everything you need for a quick, one-and-done assembly. This includes an instruction manual with clear-cut guidelines to get you up and running. We’ve also provided this step-by-step instructional video above to give you an even easier way to visualize and follow the set-up process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Embrace the suck! I got my hands on this product just recently. It is solidly built as others have said. Just be sure to tighten up the saddle bolt so it doesn't slip - other than that there are no real issues. The saddle is fine and can easily be replaced. I have found the adjustment to be accommodating and the handles have a good solid non slip feel Getting down to working out it is easy. Press the Interval button and you are right into a classic 8 interval 4 minute Tabata session. Easily changed if you want. There is just no messing with this. Get on drive hard and it will test your very limits. It's a great price for a piece of gear that will take a beating over the years and have you coming back for more to build that engine you need BTW - the quad pump is brutal

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hurts so good! A great addition to my training studio. Low impact for older clients but challenging enough to put another client (4 Time National Martial Artist title holder) on her knees. The seat is TERRIBLE but I purchased the bike when it went on sale for $799 + free shipping so it was a great deal. $30 for an upgraded seat and its perfect. I don't think it will be usable by individuals 5' or shorter. My 5'1" client is just able to use it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent for heart patients - like me I use a Rogue - Assault bike at the gym where I workout. It is the cardiovascular staple of my workout as it allows me to obtain adequate cardiovascular intensity and duration for my heart condition. My workouts on the Assault bike provide readily discernable improvements to my heart function. The adjustability of the seat, both up/down and forward/back, are critical for proper fit of varying body dimensions. I could not use the assault bike without adjusting it to fit me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I hate this bike - and that's why I bought it I am 71 and had been using this at the gym - it was the only equipment that makes me feel that I might actually die. But it definitely improves conditioning in seniors. It is relentless, there is no coasting function so you just have to keep going. It's a psychological as well as a physical challenge. Its very efficient because you dont really spend a lot of time on it. Because it is so tough I bought one. Now I can go a bit further before I feel as though I am going to die.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An essential for crossfit boxes We recently added a bunch of these bikes at the box that I belong to and they are awesome. Much more effective than the old airdynes that we had - smoother but higher degree of difficulty the harder you go. The handles are much more durable and easier to grip while you are pushing and overall a sturdier bike. These are just as essential as concept 2s in my opinion. Awesome product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Never had a piece of equipment break so often I own five of these and at least TWO are always down for repairs at any given time. They are amazing when they work but the amount of repairs we have had to make on all of them over time is unbelievable. I have had rowers for seven years and with minimal oiling have NEVER needed a single repair. Know that they will rust and that they will need more attention than a new born baby.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bike with compromises Using the bike for just over a year and I can already see rust everywhere even though I wipe it down after every use. This wasn't something I expected and it's apparent that there were compromises made during the manufacturing and didn't go with stainless steel components. It's a shame since the machine is designed well but I can't give it full marks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heart rate monitor Great bike...I wanted to use my TICKR heart rate monitor with this...unfortunately it does not connect. I’ve not been able to find any data on what will or won’t work. There is no data in the manual that specifies it as ANT+, Bluetooth, or something more specific like a POLAR HRM. I believe it requires a POLAR device but which model...additionally, it isn’t offered here on rogue. ROGUE, if you read this, can you please chime in and add some info to the page. Thanks, Aaron
