Do-Win Classic Lifter
Blue

The original Rogue weightlifting shoe, the Do-Win, is back in a re-launched “Classic” edition, available here in three colorway choices: Black & White, Red & White, and Blue & White.

As longtime Rogue athletes will know, the Do-Win Lifter was the very first lifting shoe ever sold through Rogue Fitness, starting back in 2007. This simple, precision design—with its 0.75” heel-to-toe drop, ample ventilation, and lock-down stability—earned a devoted following from the amateur ranks to the highest levels of competition. And while plenty has changed in the worlds of CrossFit and weightlifting over the past decade, a classic never goes out of style.

The Do-Win Classic Lifter includes a suede and mesh upper with a rounded toe shape (just like the old-school version had). Two hook-and-loop tarsal straps + nylon webbing backers ensure a firm, custom fit, and each heel is crafted from stacked layers of genuine leather. Like the originals, the effective heel-to-toe drop of the Do-Win is approx. 0.75” (19mm).

Please Note, however, that this exact measurement can vary slightly depending on the size of the shoe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from True to size (don't go down!), sole ripped quickly Overall I really like the shoe and it's a good price but the advice to go down half a size was unnecessary. I was able to stretch them enough to keep them but they are VERY snug and I wish I would've stuck with my normal size. My big complaint is that within a week of wearing them, the rubber part of the sole on the front peeled back so it caught on the ground on my split jerk. After 2 applications of shoe goo, it seems to be fixed but not sure how long that will hold up. If they were the right size and the bottom hadn't come apart so quickly, I would've given them 5 stars because I do like lifting in them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a waste of time and money. Let me begin by saying I was VERY excited when the Do-Win Classic finally made a come back AND made it back in stock. I ordered it that same day and could not wait to start throwin' some weight around in these bad boys. Well–To say I was disappointed would be a MASSIVE understatement. The Toe Box was far too compressed beyond the forward facing strap, then it bulges into the mid-sole area, then resets and compresses again on the horizontal plane and does not let the back strap do its work. One more aspect is that the two velcro straps are exactly perpendicular to the shoe itself, so when you actually try to adjust them, it never sits correctly in place. Save your money and get something else.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Different Fit than Original I have a pair of the original Do-Wins that I've been using for over a decade which need to be retired. I received a pair of these as a Christmas gift, and they looked to be a perfect replacement for the old pair, but the fit is very different. Despite getting a half size larger than the originals, they are too small. The new 9's are almost exactly the same length as my original 8.5s. The new toe box is also much narrower than the original, and put my toes to sleep before I could finish a workout, so they'll be going back. If you're looking for a new pair of the original Do-Wins, these are not it. The straps are wider (good?) but also much shorter than on the original. They only wrap back up to the top of my foot, leaving several inches of hook tape exposed to snag laces, straps and pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Shoe, But needs Wider Widths I really loved how solid built this shoe is. The only downside is that the Manufacturer should make available Wider Width shoes for people with Wide Feet. I usually wear a 3E or 4E so this shoe was a little tight fit. Had to return it because it would have been uncomfortable for me. Otherwise, I really loved the look and built of it. Rogue, please make Wider Shoes available soon?? Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs SMALL Love the overall look of the shoe, also love that its not a plastic heel. I normally wear a size 7 in men's shoes. Played soccer for 17 years and used to a snug fit. The toe box on these are tiny. Having to return and size up. Currently wear men's size 7 in Metcons and they have room to spare. My suggestion would be to size up.+

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't even fit my foot into the toe box I currently wear the black leather Do-Wins with the TPU heel. I was thrilled when the red suede became available. These arrived yesterday, and I can't even fit my foot into the toe box! It's ridiculously tight. They fit nothing like my black TPU heel Do-Wins! I also own a pair of adidas weightlifting shoes, a pair from Reebok, and Inov-8s. I have been weightlifting for 10 years and have worn many different weightlifting shoes, and I have never had this problem. I am a woman with a normal foot width and never need to wear wide shoes. From the reviews, I am glad to see that I am not crazy and am not the only one with this issue. I am just sad that these are completely unwearable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not like the original Just not the same as the originals. The toe box is smaller. The soles are no longer gum rubber. The gum rubber seems to have better grip inspiring more confidence. The straps are smaller which is good because the old straps were too long but honestly I wish they were somewhere in between the two. The trim around the ankle is better. The original ones where some sort of glove leather or vinyl that easily shredded. The new version seems like it will last longer. With the cramped toe box and the sole change I really can't recommend these. If you're looking for an original Do-Win these are not it.
