Do-Win Classic Lifter
Blue

The original Rogue weightlifting shoe, the Do-Win, is back in a re-launched “Classic” edition, available here in three colorway choices: Black & White, Red & White, and Blue & White.

As longtime Rogue athletes will know, the Do-Win Lifter was the very first lifting shoe ever sold through Rogue Fitness, starting back in 2007. This simple, precision design—with its 0.75” heel-to-toe drop, ample ventilation, and lock-down stability—earned a devoted following from the amateur ranks to the highest levels of competition. And while plenty has changed in the worlds of CrossFit and weightlifting over the past decade, a classic never goes out of style.

The Do-Win Classic Lifter includes a suede and mesh upper with a rounded toe shape (just like the old-school version had). Two hook-and-loop tarsal straps + nylon webbing backers ensure a firm, custom fit, and each heel is crafted from stacked layers of genuine leather. Like the originals, the effective heel-to-toe drop of the Do-Win is approx. 0.75” (19mm).

Please Note, however, that this exact measurement can vary slightly depending on the size of the shoe.

Good. Not great.
These are really really nice looking. However there is a clump of fabric inside by the pinky toe. I am not sure why they would design a seam to be right there. It makes is slightly uncomfortable but still very usable for squats.

Perfect for my needs.
I wanted a shoe with strong soles and heels. These shoes give me the support I need to push off my heels and to maintain my balance. I am a disabled Vietnam Marine and agent orange attacked my nervous system and I always have a difficult time feeling my feet and lower extremity. These shoes allow me to have better balance and my balance is improving as I work out in these shoes. Thank you for a great product that performs.

Great Shoe
I upgraded to these from the plastic sole Do-Win lifters. I like the fact I can get them rebuild by my cobler when the soles wear out. The fit is tighter than a casual shoe because you don't want your foot moving in the shoe. I did not order a half size down. Mine are the same size as my dress shoes. For me they were a bit tight but after one or two lifting sessions they are perfect!

Ok
I bought this a couple months ago and I do love the stability and mobility it gives me not only during my squats but also in all other lifts. I do have to say that it says to order a size smaller than usual but that was not correct for me... first order was too small. The other thing was that the sole of the right shoe was already coming off about 1 week after wearing it (shoes still work great and I think will last a long time but this was an issue to bring up) Overall do recommend for better and heavier squats!

Solid but extremely uncomfortable shoe
I wanted to love this shoe, but it is probably the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. It is painful across the toe joint area (I think people are calling this "toe box"). And there is plenty of space between the end of my toe and shoe. Thankfully, I only wear these short periods at a time. I followed the listing guidance, which says "we suggest dropping down ½ size". I believe that is a mistake to suggest, at least for many folks. But I think even ordering at your normal shoe size might result in too lose fit in the heel just to get the toe box right. Otherwise, the shoes do look incredible awesome, not that it matters. They are very well built with a solid feel.

Stiff shoe, stable bottom, wider toe box
Bought the shoes a month ago and I love them. So far I have been using them with Squats and Cleans and I can feel a difference in my stability and power in the bar. I love the wider toe box, it's not quite as wide as an Altra or Xero running shoe but my toes aren't squished. I love the wood sole, there is something so satisfying about the loud SMACK sound they make on the gym floor.
