Do-Win Classic Lifter
Blue

The original Rogue weightlifting shoe, the Do-Win, is back in a re-launched “Classic” edition, available here in three colorway choices: Black & White, Red & White, and Blue & White.

As longtime Rogue athletes will know, the Do-Win Lifter was the very first lifting shoe ever sold through Rogue Fitness, starting back in 2007. This simple, precision design—with its 0.75” heel-to-toe drop, ample ventilation, and lock-down stability—earned a devoted following from the amateur ranks to the highest levels of competition. And while plenty has changed in the worlds of CrossFit and weightlifting over the past decade, a classic never goes out of style.

The Do-Win Classic Lifter includes a suede and mesh upper with a rounded toe shape (just like the old-school version had). Two hook-and-loop tarsal straps + nylon webbing backers ensure a firm, custom fit, and each heel is crafted from stacked layers of genuine leather. Like the originals, the effective heel-to-toe drop of the Do-Win is approx. 0.75” (19mm).

Please Note, however, that this exact measurement can vary slightly depending on the size of the shoe.

Comfortable but makes me lean to the right
The shoes are comfortable, but for some reason when I do my backsquats they make me lean to the right. We tested if it was the shoe by having me do a squat with no shoes and doing squats with somebody else's shoes.. Conclusion came that it was these shoes

Issue with toe box
Can't recommend the shoe until something's done about the toe box. As recommended I bought a half-size up. Could not wear them more than an hour without pain in the front of the foot due to the small toe box.

Great Shoe for Weight training
They are a great shoe for weight training. I did have to order a larger size to get some that fit, and they do fit tight even at the larger size.

Squeezing in front toe box
I bought these a year ago and keep them with shoe stretcher when not in use. I have small feet woman 6 or 6.5. First 3 months of wearing them developed perineal tendinitis. Had to stop lifting for almost a year, started again and immediately one day of wearing the shoe it activated strain in my feet. Had to constantly stretch out in between sets

Seams inside the shoe are a killer!
I ordered this shoe with the hopes that it would fit my oddly shaped feet. When it arrived the fit was perfect. My workout day was a volume day so I did my squats, overhead press and deadlift. By the end halfway through my squats the little toes on both my feet were killing me. I took off the shoe and found that it was constructed with a seam in the toe area that sat squarely on my little toe. As my foot expanded the seam rubbed against my toe and eventually caused a blister. Other than the seam, the shoe are great. Just looking for a cobbler to fix the seam issue.

Good quality
Great quality, really allows me to feel comfortable on squat with the heel. It’s a more subtle shoe, so good for anyone looking for a chill squat shoe.

Order one size bigger
The do-wins are a solid platform. The more I use them, the more I like them. It took longer to settle on a pair since I wrongly ordered my regular size--I listened to the advice in another review. Rogue's advice is correct: order 1/2 size larger than you normally wear. It's unfortunate that the lifting shoes I want only come in one width, a problem for those of us with wide feet. It's a trade-off. You have to get a slightly longer shoe in order for it to be wide enough to get your foot into.

Solid!
First squat shoes I’ve ever owned. Ive tried my friends Reebok’s and nikes and they were way too narrow. Was gifted these by a friend and got a half size bigger than my regular shoe size and they’re still a little narrow in the toe box but definitely better than the others I’ve tried on. Lock in is amazing and the drop is just enough to compensate my ankle mobility issues. I’d definitely recommend these just make sure to get a half size bigger.
