RML-390F Flat Foot Monster Lite Rack

The RML-390F is the Flat Foot version of the RML-3 Monster Lite Power Rack. Available as a stand-alone unit or by converting an existing SML-2 or SML-3 Squat Stand, this rack's self-stabilizing base means you won't need to bolt it to the ground before you use it—a major benefit for those looking to protect their floors or to have more flexibility in a workout space.

The Flat Foot Monster Lite Rack is manufactured in Columbus, OH, and features 3x3" 11-gauge steel uprights, 2x3" 11-gauge steel bases with Westside hole spacing and 5/8" bolts and fasteners. Leaving just a 48" x 49" footprint, the unit still creates a substantial 30" of inside depth. Customers can choose between a Single Skinny or Fat/Skinny 43" Pull-up Bar, and all orders come standard with a pair of Monster Lite J-Cups and a pin/pipe safety system.

RML-390F Conversion Kit Includes:

  • (2) Monster Lite 90" Sticks
  • (1) XML-30" Crossmember Pair
  • (1) 30" Pin/ Pipe Safety System
  • All additional hardware required

Please Note: Band Pegs and Safety Spotter Arms should NOT be used with the Flat Foot Rack.

ALSO: If you already own a Rogue SML-2 or SML-3 Monster Lite Squat Stand and want to convert it to a Flat Foot Power Rack, we offer an RML-390F Conversion Kit with all of the components and hardware you will need. Great Equipment for my Basement
Bought it a month ago and use it every day. Great for squats, incline bench presses, and standing barbell curls; all the things I couldn't do with my bench press bench. Solid as a rock and extremely well built. Assembled easily. Overall very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

Sturdy, well-built rack to grow with!
I bought this for my teenage son (and also for me) for strength training. The rack is very sturdy and provides lots of options for racking. We bought the sandwich j-clips as recommended in the reviews and have had no issues. When you assemble the unit make sure you have at least two people - the rack is HEAVY. We have been using the rack for about 3 months now and like the sturdiness and craftsmanship that has gone into the design and build of the rack. My son will have this as an investment in his health for years to come.

Perfecto! Conversion to RML-380F
Great service, I sent an email and got response fast. This conversion to RML-390F was easy, I even was able to order the uprights on RED. Great improvement. Next project is to add uprights and croosmembers to add a plate-slinger.

NOTHING BEATS ROGUE
I purchased this rack over a year ago and Im blown away by the quality. It has vastly improved my fitness and looks good in my living room. I have the Ohio bar and a few other accessories as well, all of them are great. Just wanted to show some appreciation for an awesome company that makes awesome stuff.

Exactly what I expected
After a good bit of research, finally bought the RML-390F with the Landmine and Landmine handle. As everyone says, everything is rock solid. This thing is incredibly well built and it's hard to imagine anyone being disappointed on that front. Assembly is not complex, but you would benefit from having another person as you install the first crossbar. That's the only place I needed help, and I coulda muscled through to do it alone, but had one of my kids close by to hold it for a few seconds. Everything on the rack itself assembles with a 15/16th socket and wrench. That's really convenient. Only other thing I needed was a 4mm hex (allen) bit for the pin that holds the Landmine. Speaking of that, the landmine pin was very tight. I needed a hammer to coax it through the holes of the footplates and upright beam. Didn't seem to gouge out any metal, but definitely couldn't get it through by hand. The plate holders went on without incident and work very well. It took a little experimenting to deterimine how I wanted to use my four plate holders as you're vying for hole space with the safety pins. I figured out a back/front system that works for me. In a follow-up order, I bought the safety straps and wish I had done that with the original order. The pins are fine, but they are a bit loud. However, the fact that you get them and the black metal tube sheath is nice. The pins certainly work, but the straps just seem more elegant, so I ordered them separately. Because it's not bolted down, I was able to move it a few inches here and there relatively easily though I wouldn't want to shimmy it too much and overly stress the bolt points. Similarly, because it's not bolted, if you are aggressive in your racking of the bar and don't have any counter-balance plates holding it down, you will get some rocking and potential micro movement (depending on your floor surface). If you have reasonable control, it won't be a problem, though. So if you're really aggressive, get a bolt-down, otherwise, with this one I have zero concerns about stability.

Too many imperfections
Sturdy rack but they need to up the game on the quality check.
