Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garage gym upgrade Just anchored the RML-3 Rogue Monster Lite R-3 in my garage yesterday. Super easy with a little help from a friend with concrete drill bits and four 3/8 inch anchor bolts from Home Depot. It replaces a great Rogue squat rack I got ten years ago (son will be taking that), Big reason for the upgrade, pull-up bar. My wife who just started going to CrossFit classes in September uses it for static hangs to loosen up her shoulder. It’s also holding the new Rogue women’s bar I bought her for Christmas. Double duty Christmas present and a gift that keeps on giving. The Monster looks great and I know it will last a lifetime. Time for some squats!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect For Garage Gym After looking everywhere for a good rack I finally found this RML-3. I needed a rack small enough to fit in my apartment garage, but sturdy enough to work inside. I saw countless comments about the rack needing to be bolted down (I couldn’t do this however because I live in an apartment). I risked it and made the purchase anyway and it paid off. I simply put a pair of 60 lb dumbbells on the band pegs, one on each side, and this rack doesn’t move at all. I have racked 315 into it and had no issues at all. Great rack and the best customer service you can find anywhere. Thanks ROGUE!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy and Strong I've had my RML-3 about a year. I love that its profile doesn't take up a lot of space but doesn't give up much functionality. I also love that all the same attachments for the Monster series are available for the Monster Lite series, and they are cheaper! My only gripes with the rig are that it doesn't have a power rack conversion kit and that it doesn't have skid plates available; so you don't have to bolt it to the floor if you done want to. But, that is a small price to pay. I would recommend getting the SAML- 24 Safety Spotter Arms. They add a whole new dimension to the rig. I would also recommend buying a bunch of large (1.5-2 in) neoprene washers (about .15 cents each) from a hardware store and putting them on your attachments so they don't scrap the powder coating off. I love this rig!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely amazing! When I bought this I had absolutely no idea how awesome this was going to be after getting it setup and bolted down. One suggestion is to definitely get the shims with your purchase, especially if you have the rack in your garage. It saves time trying to level it, and you really can't beat the price of the shims anyways. I bought my rack with the safety strap system, pipes/pins, matador, adjustable monolift, and the adjustable bench 2.0. I can't tell you how sturdy and secure this rack and bench combo feels, not to mention it just simply looks awesome. I have worked up to over 500 pounds with a red SS on flat bench with this beast and there is absolutely no rock, sway, or any movement at all. Going heavy on squats and bench is awesome with the monolift and the strap system, I have tested bailing out on them with a significant amount of weight and it held up like a champ and felt very safe and secure. I would definitely recommend this rack, bench, and accessories, simply awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MONSTER!!! Have had it for 2 months now and I must agree that this thing is a beast. It is built to last a lifetime and then some. I bolted it on concrete using one screw per leg and it is rock steady. It does have some lateral sway if you attach the matador on the sides but its not going anywhere. Attached the matador on the "back " side and its a tank. I was on my way to a sporting good store to buy a half rack that was on sale when an old military buddy told me about Rogue. Looked and researched their racks for almost 2 months because I could not decide which one I wanted. Finally decided on the RML3 based on my limited space (half of my 2 car garage, my 2 year old son rules the other half) and budget. I wanted the rack and a few attachments, as someone else mentioned budget for attachments, you will be glad you did. I bought this with the landmine, matador, set of sandwich J-cups, spotter arms (must have) and the Rogue 2.0 bar and couldn't be happier. This set up is better than anything they have at the gym I was going to, no lie. If you are on the fence go ahead and jump in, you will be glad you did. You probably won't go wrong with any rack if it is a Rogue rack. Sure glad I did!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the Best Telling you right now. I’m not a CrossFit guy by any means and have been an athlete the majority of my life. I alway made the assumption Rouge was simply for the CrossFit community and we all know the first rule about CrossFit is you have to tell everyone you CrossFit.. haha. But I was wrong. This is by far the nicest piece of badass steel I’ve used let alone owned. I rack heavy weights daily and my football background keeps me training versatile. This rack allows it all. I couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with it and I simply want to thank the men and women at Rouge that take the pride they do in the equipment they make. It’s by far the best in the business!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a Garage Gym With such a small footprint, this rack was ideal for 1/2 of my 2 car garage. It is incredibly sturdy - barely moving at all when doing heavy weighted dips with the matador attachment. I have the weight storage accessories attached and they do a great job of minimizing floor space used. Overall, for the price you really can't beat what Rogue offers in the RML-3 ... it looks pretty cool as well, so that helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in Class This is the best compact power rack on the market. The footprint is very small and there are countless ways in which you can accessorize the rack to meet your fitness needs. Additionally, you can add the accessories over time, allowing your rack to evolve as your programming changes. This is not possible with some of the other top quality racks (such as the EliteFTS racks, which require you to buy everything at once). If you plan to mount the rack near a wall, there are a couple of things to consider. First, with the standard configuration, the fat/skinny bar is mounted in the center of the rack. When near a wall, the wall will interfere with kipping pull ups. To solve this problem, I added a single skinny bar and adjusted the configuration to be more like that of the R4 (see pics). Additionally, you will want to leave enough space between the wall and the rack to allow for racking a loaded barbell and plate storage. Also note that the max pull up bar height is only 88". It will be even less if you have stall mats to cut through prior to mounting the rack. I had to purchase a custom X-431 to give me a bit of extra clearance on pull ups and I am only 5'10" tall. Getting the multigrip crossmember would also give you some extra room for pull ups, assuming you have enough overhead space. Its also worth saying that the world's biggest kip will not rock this beast (see video). Bottom line - Buy this today, love it forever.
