Rogue Chain is available here in 1/2” and 5/8” kits (with carabiners), as well as single pieces without hardware. Each chain is zinc electroplated to prevent rust, and can be ordered with a Rogue Chain Sheath Set to further help prevent damage to your equipment and flooring.
Strength training with chains creates accommodating resistance that helps promote greater overall explosiveness and power. Throw a set or two over your shoulders and do weighted pull-ups or dips, or attach them to a Rogue Butcher for a new dynamic on sled work. Think outside the box and throw them in a WOD.
Rogue Chain Kits include chains with a carabiner in the center for easy loading + 4-foot chains with a carabiner to mount around a barbell. We recommend using a weight in chains that is around 10-20% of your 1 rep max for the exercise you are doing.

1/2” Chain Kit:
- (2) 10 LB lengths of 1/2” Chain with Carabiners
- (2) 4' Lengths of 1/4" Chain with Carabiners (5 LBS total)
- Ideal for beginner lifter whose lifts are below 200LB
5/8” Chain Kit:
- (2) 15 LB Lengths of 5/8" Chain with Carabiners
- (2) 4' Lengths of 1/4" Chain with Carabiners (5 LBS total)
- Ideal for someone whose maxes are 200-300LB
- Two 5/8" Kits are ideal for someone whose maxes are 300-500LB
Note: each 5/8" chain section is 29 links (approximately 4' and 15LB)
Basic Chain Buying Guidelines:
- Use a weight in chains that is around 10-20% of your 1 rep max for the exercise you are doing.
- 1/2" Kit is ideal for a beginner lifter whose lifts are below 200LB
- 5/8" Kit is ideal for someone whose maxes are 200-300LB
- Two 5/8" Kits are ideal for someone whose maxes are 300-500LB
More on Our Optional Rogue Chain Sheath Sets
Our Chain Sheaths are sold in pairs and made from 1000D Cordura. Measuring 58” long x 4” wide, they are compatible with both the ⅝” and ½” chain. Velcro straps and closures at each end effectively keep the chain confined and uniformly spaced within the sheath as you train. In the middle of each sheath, an opening in the Cordura allows for a carabiner to be clipped to the chain. Includes a sewn-in Rogue label. Qualifies as a "3 Ships Free" item.
