Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great straps. Helped this amputee with grip So this June I lost 2/3 of my left ring finger. I got back to exercising by August but there was a loss of strength in my left hand due to muscle atrophy and the missing digit. I noticed my left hand would give out during deadlifts, pull-ups, and other lifting exercises when normally I would be able to do another few reps. These rogue leather lifting straps help to even me back out to lift like I did prior to my injury. I'm nowhere near my PR's but with the help of these and some serious determination I'll be bigger and stronger than before in a few months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great straps Just started using the leather straps today and already I know I'll never go back to the old canvas ones. These guys won't cut into your wrist like other straps and have a nice padding to them. One thing I would suggest is before you use then rough them up a bit. I usually only add the straps in when going for higher weight and need the grip boost(don't use straps until you have to or you'll lose any chance of big forearms and impressive grip strength) but if you try lift heavy with these guys right out of the box you'll find that they are too smooth to really get a good grip so I just rubbed them against my rogue bar a few times and roughed them up and now they work perfect. Good job Rogue

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just ok I bough these to test against the cloth ones. The leather ones are ok for deadlift pulling, however, once you start sweating they will get slippery and will be cumbersome to wrap around the bar. I used them for a couple of sessions but decided to go back to cloth straps for the OLY lifts because of the sweat slippery effect the leather created on the bar

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Best straps ever used. After years of using the standard cotton straps and them ripping, I decided to give these a try. Longer lasting, better grip, and they do not cut into your wrist. A no brainer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow I've been a fan of brand x nylon straps and wanted something different and went ahead and tried these must say best choice I made in a while. Initially They have a little stretch lifted only 305lb but the feel is amazing and don't slip like the others. One did feel a tougher than the other strap but not a bad difference. Also they do run a I little shorter than what I prefer but they don't slip so it's not as noticeable

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Thin Lasted about 6 months until the straps started to get warped right at the loop, making them twist around while setting up. They also retain water if your palms sweat. Usually leather straps get better over time, these unfortunately do not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better grip than canvas Started using the leather straps after getting them for Christmas. Although at first I didn't think I'd feel much of a difference, the leather straps really do bite the bar better. The canvas straps have a slight slip initially, whereas these stay put from start to finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Straps I Have Ever Used Nylon just never worked for me. Not sure why. Took me two sessions before I could use these ones effectively with my heavier sets, but once I got the hang of it, they work great. I can do reps without re-adjusting my grip every time. If you've had no luck with nylon, try leather. If you're just starting out with straps, just start with leather.
