Rated 5 out of 5 by from STOUT DIP BAR Okay, I just got my Rogue Monster Matador delivered this afternoon so I was excited to bolt this bad boy up. I was so excited, I didn’t realize I didn’t put a hard plate or back wall behind the new dip bar, so when I finally bolted it up and tried my first dip, I heard the metal pushing into the drywall so I got off and started to analyze the situation. Here’s what I came up with. Take a look at the Photos. Basically, I put the strip I purchased for my Rogue rings and it solved the problem. I will however, sometime this weekend will put a 3X2 inch piece of block metal and problem solved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big, heavy and strong. I bought this recently for my monster 3 rack that I got off CL. I have the early version that was made with 7 gauge steel and it fits perfectly. It's much larger than it looks in the photos online, but that's good in ways. It puts you out far enough to have ample head clearance from the rack. The grip width is perfect, I'm 5'10" 200lbs and not fat and it fits me just right. For the record the finish is excellent, but really, is it made to look at or to use? The bottom line is, this will hold you, and all the plates you can hang from your waist and that's all that matters. I don't have the ceiling height, but it would be interesting to try and do pull ups with too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multi-use Matador Not only great for dips, but raise it up and it is super for neutral-grip pull-ups. As usual; unbeatable Rogue quality as expected from all of their products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected I recently bought this for my RM-6, and it's better than I imagined. I opted not to purchase it with the rack assuming that having a set of rings would suffice. The matador is solid, doesn't move when I do dips and doesn't interfere with the weight storage on the monster rack. I attached it to the middle upright due to space. I was worried about the amount of clearance between the upright and my head, but the spacing is fine, even when I'm on the narrow part of the handles. Super easy to put on the rack and haven't found a fault in it yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too wide for most I'm 6'2", 220lbs, so the width is fine for me. If I was a couple inches shorter, I'd probably return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy When performing weighted dips, the attachment doesn't appear to notice the weight. So far I've had about 300lb with plates and bodyweight. I would say it can handle much more. Minor End Cap damage, however the integrity isn't effected, so still 5 starts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from overall great As every other reviewer has stated, this is a solid piece of equipment. The pictures do not do it justice. My only complaint would be it should be a little more narrow. My wife cannot use this even at it's narrowest portion

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As Advertised Looks good, built well, and I'm already feeling an improvement in my bench press. Body weights dips have increased dramatically. I was doing them between two folding chairs. Reason for the 4 vs 5 star rating is one of the end caps was partially smashed in. It's minor and doesn't effect the apparatus, but takes away aesthetically.
