Son’s gift
I bought this for my son’s Christmas gift and he loved it. He has a gym set up in his garage and this added to it. He told me Rogue was the best you can get.

Solid piece
I bought this during the matte black November deal and I’m glad I did! As much as I hate doing dips, this is a super heavy duty piece and it’s very sturdy. If you’re on the fence about it, just do it.

Nice dip bar that can be stored out of the way.
My kid has been asking for this since we’ve bought our power rack, great addition! Nice and convenient to set out of the way when not I use. Not much else to say, it’s for dips!

Great idea, awful exection
This is the first piece of Rogue equipment I plan on returning. Here's why: 1. My programming has me doing weighted tricep dips at least once a week. 2. My preferred form on dips is tricep-dominant and close grip, so I activate my back, naturally moving my torso forward. 3. I use a dip belt with weight, meaning the weight itself already adds some instability to the motion. The setup with the single bolt to the Monster Lite rig is surprisingly unstable. It shakes constantly on both the eccentric and concentric motion, even when the rig is anchored firmly. This reduces the weight I can confidently move. Additionally, the short length of the arms has me bumping against the Matador's base. I'm not a big guy (~200 lbs, 5' 8" and it just feels small and poorly-designed. I'm planning on replacing this with a standalone dip station, which is unfortunate. While the actual material (powder finish! sturdy!) is good, the design is just weird and and not up to Rogue's usual quality.

Missing end cap
I purchased this during the matte black November event at a decent price (still more expensive than similar products from other companies). The fit and finish are okay and it isn't too difficult to set up in my squar rack. I have it facing toward the interior and can still do pullups with it in place which is nice but the rack shakes quite a bit even with adding weight. The one big complaint is mine arrived with an end cap missing. It does t effect performance in any way buy when you charge a premium for your products they should be shipped with all the parts.

Much needed addition
I don’t get crazy with buying add-ons. Majority of my workouts are right now bench, squats, deadlifts, pull-ups. The matador isn’t a must have addition but if you’re looking for something that will get use, is a perfect fit and functions well with the rack- but this. Great price. Well built
