So far so good!
I've had the Castro rig up for a week in my backyard and it's been a game changer so far! Very sturdy! Lot's of versatility for different exercises. Based on other reviews I'm adding caps to the top tubes to prevent rain from coming in and I'm also putting in drain holes and POR15 rust stopping paint inside the base of the legs.

Quality with a little preparation
This is a quality rig and has everything that I need after I customized it. Get rid of the dirty south bar and get the 70in single bar for big gymnastic skill. The rig is not rust proof. You’ll need to put a sealant on the unfinished welds and on the first 6 inches of the uprights. You’ll also need to drill drainage holes, so water doesn’t sit in the bottom and put caps on the top to prevent heavy water from entering.

Almost perfect!
I live in Southern California, we don’t have a ton of rain but we do get some. After two years it’s holding up really well. My wife and I use this to both squat at the same time, rope climbs, muscle ups… you name it. I just drilled 3/16 inch holes at the base of each post (as a previous review mentioned) It will accumulate water. Hopefully Rogue sees this and fixes this problem in the future.

It’s not if it’s when
It doesn’t matter if you drill holes to drain water or cut out one of the welds for it to drain. Bottom line these rigs are painted on the outside and not dipped, they will rust from the inside out. I bought the original Castro rig in November 2017 because the picture it displayed was outside so I assumed it was good quality and added the v2 Castro rig in October 2020. I ended up cutting the bottom 13 inches off and making a new base and solid tubes that are capped and will never get water in, plated both sides and bolted together. Hopefully this will last longer than the original. I understand this isn’t the ideal mounting method but I can’t afford a whole slab and did the best I could. Rogue please make a galvanized rig or at least dip the rigs so they get coating on the inside. I love all your equipment and have tons of it but not everyone has big tall sheds to do rope climbing or wall balls.

Base of posts’ Design flaw fixed
Great and rugged equipment, and we installed it out doors at our Montreal home. Right away I could see water would be accumulating every rain fall. It was up to the first accessory holes in a month. I drilled a hole parallel to the base (use a 1/8 - 3/16“ carbide drill). Water gushed out. It has been outside more than 2 years now. No rust at base anymore. Reinstalling at our Novs Scotia home.

Rusted Out After Two Years. Disappointing.
We put this up 2.5 years ago and LOVED it. So functional, great use of space. We had it shipped to the USVI with a bunch of other Rogue gear snd thought it was worth the expense. Unfortunately water accumulates in the bottoms of all four posts and appears to have rusted them out from the inside. Living in the tropics we expect additional wear and tear on things but this is a design flaw with this rig. It’s not suitable as-is for outdoor use. All the other Rogue gear has been great but we’re back to the drawing board and out thousands of $ for a rig. Bummed.

The rig
I have had the rig for a month. My Son and I are using it a couple times a week. It is helping out with my leg less rope climbs and ring muscle ups. I wish I would of bought it a couple years sooner.

Solid Rig
Sturdy rig ready for whatever you need to do. Two things I think would make it better 1. Water builds up inside the bottom of each legging, potential rust issues in the future 2. Have it come with/the option for a single pullup bar instead of the dirty south bar and the fat/skinny bar. Like others its probably a 3-4 person job to set it up with the 15’ and 12’ legs but can be done with just 2 and a 13’ extension ladder.
