Best rope ever, used over a decade
Anyone leaving a poor review is strictly operator error. I’ve used this cable for 12+ years and have only used 3 different cables. And I have done A LOT of double unders being a previous CF Regional athlete for 5 years. You can certainly get the set screw tight enough and you just need a proper pair of wire cutters.

Locking collar issue
Can't get the locking collar tight enough to stop it from moving on the rope. Great weight

Unraveled almost immediately, Junk cable
3 workouts in and this cable starts unravelling, on a polished concrete floor to boot. To date, I keep having to stop jumping to trim frayed and partially unravelled strands of metal. Pretty soon I'll have no rope / strands left! WORST PURCHASE EVER.

No wrench is a bummer
I like the cable, but why does this not come with the super hard to find .035 allen wrench! Nobody has this, most sets only go down to .05!

still haven't been able to use it
bought it to replace my SR-343 mach speed rope cable. But the hex lock is so tiny, i am still looking around to find the key online that actually. Bought it almost a year ago and its still sitting pretty in the plastic case it came in as. I am not sure if I can recommend this unless rogue sells/sends a hex key for that.

do not buy
I bought 2 cables and the clamp just wont get tight enough. I had to buy a second cable because I tried to crimp the clamp on the first one after it flew off during class and I had it as tight as possible. Why would Rogue not send a key? This is a bad design.

Been using these cables exclusively for 9 years
After reading some of the reviews, I had to add my two cents. First of all, I am not a professional cross fitter. I’m 52 years old and I’ve been doing it consistently for 10 years. When I originally bought my SR jump rope, it came with the proper hex wrench to fit the small hex screw. I’ve always just kept it in my gym bag along with a few extra cables. The cables have very good durability, the only issues I ever have is where they insert into the handle over time will wear on the cable which will eventually release a couple stray strands of wire. At that time I replace it. I have never had any problems with the cable coming out of the handle when properly fastened. The only thing I recommend is after using it the first time retighten the screws.
Yes, I recommend this product

Tried to trim it, screwed up the cable.
Tried to trim it, screwed up the cable. It was too long, and when I tried to cut it with a cutting tool, it would not cut and spread the cable apart :-(
