Rogue AB-3 Adjustable Bench

The Rogue AB-3 Adjustable Bench introduces a new decline setting to go along with the 50+ seat and back-rest position combinations from the popular AB-2. Ideally suited for dynamic training or for gyms serving multiple athletes, this compact, 11-gauge steel weight bench offers a rare combination of sturdiness and maneuverability, with boundless customization options.

The AB-3 Bench is built in the USA, and is a direct descendent of the time-tested Nebula 1080 Utility Bench. This design features an updated spine construction that allows for the connection of a telescoping foot catch assembly. The foot catch locks firmly into place using a pop pin, and sets the user up for movements including the decline bench, decline dumbbell press, and decline sit-ups, among others.

If You Already Own an AB-2 Bench: You can purchase our Retro-Fit Kit to swap out your current spine and replace it with the new version in order to add the telescoping foot catch. Customers purchasing the Retro-Fit Kit will need to disassemble some components of their current AB-2 Bench in order to install the new spine.

Other standard features on the AB-3 Adjustable Bench include load-bearing rubber feet for stability, cordura edges for enhanced durability, and a convenient handle and wheels for easy mobility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do you like nice things? This is a great bench, the added foot catch makes it a no-brainer over the AB-2. As others have said, it's a tank, heavy, easy to move around (the handle under the seat and the wheels are very high quality). I honestly feel a little spoiled that I got this for myself - it's just so nice and it has so many adjustable positions. There is absolutely zero wobble. It is expensive - actually it's the single most expensive item in my garage gym (more expensive than my concept2) - probably not the right bench if you're just starting, but if you can afford this thing it's the best bench money can buy! Rogue makes such great equipment, high quality, veteran owned, and American made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bench hands down! I have a home gym and have several benches including a flat and incline bench . My space is limited and I needed a decline bench. I saw the AB-3 and had to have it. I bought it and i can freely day that the this is THE BEST BENCH I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. Excellent quality, extremely durable. This bench will outlast the others.. You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bench ever! It's definitely a little spendy but worth every penny and by far the best bench I have ever seen or used! With tones of different adjustments which allows you to find the perfect setting for whatever exercise you want to do and it's built like a tank and extremely sturdy! You can do sit ups with it completely up right which is hard to find in a bench that also has all the different settings it has. Usually with other benches you don't get that option to go so steep unless it's a bench just for ab stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only problem I see...... The only problem I see is your kids fighting over it when they settle your estate. No assembly required, built to last, you will pass this on to the next generation, so you better just go ahead and have it listed in your will. The bench is solid, padding extra firm, and adjustment is smooth. The cover material is "grippy" so no sliding around. The edge materal for the pad covering is more of a woven type fabric that will hold up well. The "gap" between seat and back is noticeable when set flat, this could be a concern if your looking for a "un-broken" flat bench. I quickly found that it wasn't an issue when using in the flat orientation due to the generous length of the back. When using flat I sit at the end of the back and lay back with my head towards the seat. This way the hips/torso is all on the same pad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bench out there After trying to avoid paying the price for the Rogue bench and trying alternatives, we decided to bite the bullet and purchase the AB-3. My hubby is 6'4", 300 lbs and can do decline situps without the bench wobbling, which is pretty impressive in itself. The back is wide enough to support him during bench press, flies, etc. If you're looking for a bench that you likely won't ever need to replace, this is it. Heavy, durable, zero wobble, exceptionally built, and worth the $$$.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty! I bought this bench for a home gym, WOW. It is so heavy duty and stable. Better than any gym bench I have used. Would definitely recommend this bench if you want the best. Great engineering.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Upgrade The upgrade is worth it but I do no understand why Rogue doesn't just make the spine on the AB-2 bench upgrade ready. The spine's only difference is the end isn't capped and it has a locking pin welded into it on this upgraded one. Why not just have that standardized and then people only have to buy the leg roller. Stilp a great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Want the best most stable bench - this is it!! We’ve been using a FID bench for a few years now and it wobbles ...just a bit - just enough to throw me off my game. So I was looking at upgrading - this fit the requirements and I am very pleased. It is overpriced - YES - but you’ll not find this level of in(de)cline... with solid stability for less. So treat yourself - maybe you’ll do a few more reps to fail.
