Designed Specifically for Hip Thrusts
1

Designed Specifically for Hip Thrusts

As an increasingly popular lower body strength training exercise, the hip thrust has been proven effective for developing the glutes (as well as the hamstrings and quads) with far less loading on the spine than traditional barbell squats. This also makes it an excellent option for rehabilitation work. In the movement, the barbell is placed across the hips as the athlete sits on the floor. With each upward thrust of the hips, the shoulders also elevate and level out, which is where the Monster Lite Hip Thruster Bench comes in—providing leverage and padded protection through each rep.

Easy Set-Up in Monster Lite Rack/Rig

Compatible exclusively with the 43” space of Rogue Monster Lite units, this version of the Hip Thruster Bench offers space efficiency and convenience for any size gym, as the attachment ships fully assembled, with simple installation and takedown as you move through a regimen. The bench features formed channels on each end that can be secured to the uprights using the provided pair of 5/8" detent pins.

Each Hip Thruster Bench is manufactured in the USA using a 2x 4" 11-gauge steel tube welded to 5/16" thick formed end plates with a MG Black powdercoat finish. Around the tube is a U-shaped, vinyl-covered pad that measures 2.25" thick on the top and 1.5" thick on the sides—protecting the back from contact with any hard steel surfaces as you train. The pad is 41” long in total and 7” deep. The entire HTB attachment weighs in at approx. 32 LBS.

Hard to install but rock solid
I got this to add on to my old S3 squat stand with the half rack conversion kit. I had to loosen the bolts on the squat stand and beat it with a rubber mallet to get it to fit. I haven’t removed it since but i would not purchase it if you don’t plan to leave it in place. It doesn’t move though! Very solid.

Very satisfied
Solid bench for pullovers and hip-thrusts. I did not have any installation issues. I have it attached to a Monster Lite squat stand and it’s easy to place and doesn’t damage the posts. Just a note since I see many are having this problem. I don’t know if I got lucky, there was some change to the product, or it’s especially compatible with stands vs racks, etc., but my installation experience was good.

Does not fit Monster Lite Rack
Sadly I seem to have the same issue as so many others. The holes do not align with the monster lite rack and the hip thruster bench is completely unusable. it sits on my wall and quite frankly I'm not sure what to do with it. The density of the pad feels great and I genuinely wish I could have gotten use out of it.

If your posts aren't square, then it's a problem
We have 2 of these in our gym and while it is cumbersome to install, it is totally do-able. I balance it on my knee while reaching to insert the pins. Those complaining that it scratches up their posts makes me think their posts aren't square to the ground. We have 6 bays in our rig and in 2 of them, the ML Thruster bench does not fit at all. And my only rationale is that those 2 bays have slightly angled posts -- it's not enough to be noticeable, but it's enough to be functionally a problem with this attachment. It's a great piece of equipment and we use it regularly. It's very sturdy.

The pins are for the wrong holes on the rack
The pins going on the outside holes instead on the front like the J hooks doesn’t make sense. A little detail that would make this a much better product. I would not recommend this product if this is not changed.

Glad I’m not the only one
I had my eye on this item for so long and didn’t bother to read the reviews until now and am sad to see other are having the same issue(s). The holes don’t line up and it’s a pain to remove (nearly impossible alone), leaving your rig scratched up.

Same Mounting Problem as Others Have
I did not think this through as I was designing and purchasing my rack, but I figured I would try to incorporate the Hip Thruster Bench into my set up as convenient as possible. However, I am having the same issue with mine as many others. It is almost impossible to install by yourself, and I don't have a partner to help install. As with a couple other reviewers, it is scratching up my rack so much that I gave up trying to install it, never being successful. I asked Rogue about mounting to the wall with the 3x3 Strips, to which they said that they cannot recommend that, as it has not been tested in that capacity, but that it would mount up to the Strips. Might be worth a try...

Great product poor install
I bought this a few years back it’s very sturdy used for hip thrust and Bulgarian split squat could probably also use for step up. It’s a pain in the butt to take in and out and I wish it was designed better. Know that your rack will get scratched up.
