The Rogue Axle - Powdercoated

$155.00 CAD

Rogue Axle

Deceptively Simple Grip Training

A collaborative effort between the Rogue team and Rob Orlando of Hybrid Athletics, the powder-coated, 1.9” diameter Rogue Axle offers athletes an effective change of pace for any lifting regimen, promoting greater wrist and grip strength. The bar measures 84" in total length, with 15.5” of loadable sleeve length and 52” between the collars.

From presses to rows to deadlifts, the Axle makes for a more challenging but ultimately more beneficial workout, emphasizing the muscles in the hands in a way standard bars can’t. It’s the same principles that have made fat bars an essential part of the modern Strongman training arsenal. A more compact 5’ version of this bar, the Stubby Axle, is also available.

IMPORTANT: Some standard barbell collars may not work on this specialty bar. We recommend using either the Rogue HG Axle Collars, Red OSO Axle Collars or PROLOC™ Strongman Collars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job Was looking for a way to improve grip strength along with making lifts more difficult at the same time. This bar does the trick. Also makes back squats a little more comfortable on the shoulder area. The rogue label is rather cheap, just a sticker that actually pulls off the coating so be careful removing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's the spiffiest... ...2" pipe I've ever bought. It does all the things a 2" pipe converted for weightlifting could hope to do. The powder coating is excellent, it protects the bar from the weather, and provides some texture for gripping. It's really one of the best axle bars I've ever used.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its alright I've had the bar maybe a month and the paint is already gone on the edges. If you don't care about that tho it's alright I guess. You get what you pay for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool to help with grip strength. Have been using the axle bar since the plandemic happened, use it for bench press, military press, bent over rows and deadlifts. Has help with my grip strength. I would recommend it to wrestlers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great speciality bar who cares about the sticker If you’re looking to strengthen your grip this is the perfect bar to add to your training arsenal. Chalk is a must. Also who cares about the sticker I peeled that off as soon as I got the bar. Powder coat feels nice I have no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not spin on my landmine after tightening bolt It does what I need which is not spin on landmine exercise . Paint coat chipping because of my fault of tightening the screw of the attachments . That the purpose of me using the axle bar instead of a pricy barbell. I love the bar .
