Safe, quiet and nurl friendly tooAs usual with all my Rogue purchases, I kick myself for not buying them sooner. Late night workouts are much quieter now, subsequently, I am working out more frequently as the wife and daughters get their beauty sleep.

Love the safety strapsMuch better than pin and pipe set that the rack came with. Did not even bother taking out of box. Straps the way to go!

They work awesomeI haven't had to test the effectiveness of these safety straps out yet, but knowing that they're there is confidence inspiring, especially for my squats. A couple of times, I hit up against them when I went way past parallel, and it didn't even faze me. It wasn't jarring and unsettling like it would be with pins/pipes or safety spotter arms.
10/10. Would reccommend!

Great straps for the most partThese are wonderful for benching with confidence inside of ML racks. It is unquestionably less distracting to touch straps with a loaded barbell than touching up flip downs or pin/pipe safeties. These straps work well for their intended uses and feel indestructible. My issue is with their engineering compared with their Monster counterparts. Rogue needs to release a slide down version of these for monster lite racks. If you bench press with these, you are left with very narrow parameters to place a pair of standard j-cups since both attachments take a large amount of upright space to swing in. Some people have even found the straps to be incompatible with the sandwich style j-cups while benching for this exact reason. Making a slide down version eliminates this issue. Please don’t make people buy a Monster rack to have more versatility in bench strap/j-cup adjustments.

awesomeI waited 6 months before writing this, just in case. These things rock, and are worth every penny.
Here's a tip: They don't have to be level, and I find it works better if they aren't.
For the squat, I set them up so the front support near the j-cups and bar is 3 or so holes HIGHER than the back. If I fail a rep, I lean forward a bit, the strap catches the bar and rolls back away from me safely and gently.
For the bench, I sent them up so the front support is about 2 holes LOWER than the back. If I fail a rep, it rolls towards my chin but there is plenty of clearance for safety and it doesn't land on my chest. I can scoot out from under it with no issues.
I feel completely safe squatting and benching alone.
I'll never go back to spotter arms or pins/pipes or rods.

VersatilityThe Monster Lite Strap System 2.0 is more than just an incredibly strong and reliable safety system. It’s a multi use feature that adds so much versatility to the RML 490C Power Rack. I not only use this strap system for spotting my squats and benches, I use it for a poor man’s T Bar row where I lean over and place my chest on the strap as I utilize my Rogue Landmine for bent over rows. It’s a must have feature since undergoing spinal surgery years ago. I also use the straps for Bulgarian Lunges. The strap system works on all posts of the power rack since it is a perfect square. The straps also come in handy when doing Farmer Squats with the Rogue Landmine. It makes adding the plates a bit easier and acts as a safety spot too. The Monster Lite Strap Safety System 2.0 is great addition to my home gym. Oops I almost forgot to mention that the strap system is so much easier to adjust than the pin pipe system that comes with the rack. I’m very happy with my purchase.
