Works fine
The interior of these are not padded so they can scratch your uprights. I also did not get a set with Rogue branding as pictured or other have have pictured (see photo). Maybe they have changed their manufacturing process, but I would look into less expensive options in the future.

We apologize for the discrepancy here, and our team is working to make this right.

Close but not quite
Unfortunately, the UHMW does not cover the interior of the j-cup which can lead to wear on it and your bar. The powder coat comes right off. These should not be the default shipped with rigs.

Does the job
I got these a while back, they work just fine. I do wish I had gone with the sandwich cups to have a little extra space for squats but overall these do the job. I just noticed when taking pics that some of the hex screws were stripped by the assembler but that’s an easy fix if I ever need to remove them. Mine have rogue branding on them as well, different than what is shown on the website now.

These are a bad buy.
These j-cups will hold your long bar, but they will do a subpar job protecting it and they will make your re-racking sequence frustrating. The clearance these have from the bar collar is barely more than an inch on either side, though the photo they use to show the product holding a bar misleads you into thinking its almost 3 inches of clearance. You are most definitely going to ding your bar collars on these. The plastic used to protect the bar from slamming into metal is nice, but there's none on the underside lip and for whatever reason, shallow metal bolts are used to hold the plastic in place... kind of defeats the purpose. Basically, you have to be ULTRA precise with your re-racking to get your bar the protection you thought these would give it and that makes these a bad product. The cynic in me says this is all done intentionally so that you upgrade your purchase to the vastly superior sandwhich j-cups, which happen to solve all of these problems. Regardless of if that's the case, these are not worth the $95. Spend the extra $50 to get the clearly superior sandwhich j-cups.

High quality steel
I used one of these J-Cups to adapt my home made dip bar to my new Monster-lite rig. It was previously used on a 2”x2” upright. Was easy enough to adapt. The steel Rogue used is quality steel, and it was easy enough to weld.

Works good
I'm in the military and have used a lot of different types of equipment over the years. These are easy, effective and sturdy as hell. Got a second set because I'm lazy, and wanted to just move the bar from inside to outside the rack so I don't have to move the bench when I switch to squats, without having to shift the j-cups too. Bam - saved myself 45 seconds. Plus now we can do a 2-person workout using the rack simultaneously. This addition is a small tweak with big dividends.

J Cups for the win!!
I love how easy these are to move from a squat position to bench position. No pins to remove, just twist and pull out. They are very sturdy and work terrific
