Muscle Clamps

While they’re as easy to use as traditional spring collars, York’s 2” Muscle Clamps create a superior, high-pressure bond with the bar for a safe, secure hold throughout regular lifts.

The single-motion, lock/unlock functionality and lightweight design is further supported by a rubberized lining that keeps your barbell protected from friction, scratches, etc.

Muscle Clamps are sold here in pairs and are compatible with most standard Olympic barbells.

Used for years
I have used this clamp for years and recently lost one clamp. there was no question that I was going to replace with the same clamp. I have used other clamps, but there is no comparisons to the ease and function of this clamp.
Yes, I recommend this product

Tight fit
I bought these for my daughter so she wouldn't have to ask for help with other squeeze kind of clamps. They are tight and hard to slide onto the bar. we are hoping they will get loser with time.

Not impressed
We have these in my high school weight room and they don't last long. Teenagers are rough on equipment and these come loose after abuse. I've had them slide half way off the bar too many times during dead lifts and cleans. But if you need something quick they're not horrible if you gentil with them.

Decent for some lifts
I have these and the Rogue collars. These collars are good for any movement where the weight is not lifted explosively, or sat on the ground. In other words: Bench, OHP, curls? Yes. Deadlift, Cleans, Pendlay rows? No. They will walk down the bar if used in that fashion. Still, these are my go-to collars for bench and OHP.

5 star
These are great collars for general use. They last years. We have multiple pairs that are 5+ years old and they still hold great. 425 deadlifts, squats, heavy cleans... These are great.

Very happy with these
First let me say that I don't do any olympic lifting. I bought these because I have a couple of specialty bars (safety squat and trap bar) that are slightly too wide for the spring collars. Unlike the HG collars, they go on quickly and easily. For regular lifts, these work great.

alright for power-lifts but not oly-lifting
These are nice for people with arthritis or weak grip over the spring collars. They do pop loose when doing oly-lifting. I would recommend the rogue hg collar over this.
