Solid product
First off, the clip is amazing. I like a secure clip to attach to my dog's collar, and my previous leash used a big locking carabiner. Worked great, but was enormous. This is secure and pretty compact. I found the leash to be a bit long, but I took it to my local shoe repair shop and had them shorten it by 2 feet, so now it's right around 4.5 feet long. Now it's perfect (for me). YMMV, 95% of all leashes are 6 foot so people must like that. My dog sticks pretty close so it was dragging on the ground if I didn't bundle it up. Also, there is no swivel so if you dog likes to run in circles it tends to twist up. Doesn't really hurt anything, but it happens.

Comfortable for you and your dog
My dog like to sniff around bushes and mailboxes during our walks, so the length works for me. It's a little annoying when she walks next to me, but that usually doesn't last for long. The clip takes a few uses to get used to, but I'm a fan now. My favorite part is the hole or handle. I put my wrist through it and let the leash rest in my hand, it's thick enough to handle my dog when to tries to chase a squirrel from under a car. My past leashes would hurt because they are so thin, but this one is perfect.

Perfect, no frills leash
Simple design executed well = success. This leash is sturdy and comfortable. I am confident in my dog's safety and in my ability to lead him when necessary. I've ordered a few of these just to have in case of loss or if I have multiple dogs at once.

This leash is perfect for on dog, but I need it in red to match my other dog's collar!
