Rogue KG Training 2.0 Plates

One of the leading heavy-duty, dead-blow bumper plates in the industry—now revamped with new artwork and a gloss-matte-gloss finish. Rogue KG Training 2.0 Plates (an LB version is also available) are manufactured from quality virgin rubber, with a clean surface and nickel-coated steel center plate. The 50.40MM collar opening creates a firm hold on any standard OIympic barbell, and the plates’ thin-cut width enables a higher loading capacity.

Sold in pairs and in standard or custom sets, our KG Training Plates are finished in black with bright, color-coded lettering (we also offer fully colorized KG Training Plates, available here). The average Shore A durometer for these bumpers is 90, making them ideally suited to the demands of the serious Oly lifter. Expect a consistent dead blow with minimal bounce, even on high impact drops.

Rogue guarantees that our KG Training Bumpers are within 15 grams of their claimed weight. If a plate does not conform, it does not ship. Check out below to see the width measurements of each plate, and use the column on the right to select your preferred set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Plates- we need more! I'm totally satisfied with these plates, just wish the whole set was available as it*s pretty boring doing my leg work with just 2 plates on the bar.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great, but more prone to damage than I’d hoped I bought these two years ago, a bit shy of 190kg of plates. I love them, but I have to say that they’re more prone to damage than I’d hoped. In the photos you’ll see a 10kg plate. It’s taken damage through normal use - I actually try not to drop them at all despite being bumper plates (I worry about my foundation and think eccentric portions of the lift are important), and try to move them carefully from peg to bar, but I’ve still somehow managed to take out small chunks of my various plates. The metal cores also seem to scuff up significantly, and I haven’t figure out how to get them clean despite several attempts. But I do overall love these plates. I’ll just wind up buying new ones sooner than I’d hoped.
