Awesome!
After using another manufacturer's product I felt it was time to upgrade and boy did I! The quality of material, construction and appearance surpassed any expectations I had. It bolted into my rack in minutes and a heavy squat workout the next day. Extremely pleased and looking forward to more purchases from Rogue in the future.

Like getting a perfect lift-off for bench
I actually picked this up as a way to essentially give myself a liftoff for bench and save some wear and tear on my shoulders from unracking heavy weights. It works great and I am really happy with the product.

Not just for Squats
Great product at a great price. In addition to the squat, we utilize this for bench pressing. The lifter can set directly under the bar in the perfect groove and unrack the bar without resetting.

Great product with a few glaring flaws
The monolift itself is great, replicates crepinsek “poor man’s monolift” for a lower cost and typical rogue finish. The first issue is the UHMW. The plastic doesn’t go up far enough to protect the bar from metal on metal contact. On my second lift, I already had red paint on my bar. It’s a shame to buy a brand new product and have to tape it up with electrical tape to make up for poor design. http://i.imgur.com/xq9sgKu.jpg That is how the UHMW needs to be to protect the bar and the monolift. Not sure why rogue skimped on a little bit of cheap plastic. The second issue is adjustability of the monolift. A swing arm with pins (like the spotter arms) would have been a much better way of adjusting the monolift for different heights. Wait for version 2.0 when rogue actually gives you proper bar protection and hopefully make the monolift more adjustable.

As you mentioned we are offering a heavier duty version of this piece of equipment at a lower price. We are also the only company to use plastic in the cup at all. Most version are simply metal hooks. That being said we have changed the plastic to go along the vertical in the next batch out the door. We will be offering a pin version late on vs bolt on. Then you can choose which version to get. Thank you for the feedback - we are always listening!

Monolift Attachement Review
Santa brought this for my Infinity R3. Overall, very happy with the product. You get monolift functionality at a fraction of the cost. Build is solid and installation is simple. A few nitpicks prevent this from being 5 stars: 1) Limited height adjustments - ok if you are lifting solo in your basement as you can set and forget, but if you have a crew, you need to have an impact wrench handy if you have lifters requiring different height settings. 2) My R3 rack is bolted to the floor, but the installing the monolift attachments on the upper part of the rack has introduced some side-to-side wobble. I am thinking of installing another cross member directly above the attachments to increase the stability. 3) Re-racking the bar on the hooks is metal on metal and has caused the red finish in the contact area to flake off onto the bar. Rogue should add PVC in this area to protect the attachments and bar. Well worth the money.

Mark and Jesse nailed it
For 1/10 the price of a traditional monolift this product is awesome! After a few quick sets of use, the benefits became apparent. Buy it.
