Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge improvement: grip strength, injury prevention Just purchased my HandXBand HEAVY after a year of great success with the medium version. I've seen massive improvement in my grip strength and a vast reduction in those little twinges, aches, and pains I used to get in my wrists and elbows. I keep one in my gym bag and one in the car. It's a great way to keep up my grip strength workouts anywhere, anytime. Note: I think the durability gets a bad rap because most gear here is made of steel or nylon. Hand X Band is made of high grade flexible silicone, so don't just rip it off your hand. Just slip it off your fingers and it will last a long time. I've had mine for over a year with no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Product/Quality Company I was gifted a few pairs of HandXBands a few years ago after meeting and talking to the owner. the product was unique and I found that they're easy to use, even with little to no concentration. After a few weeks, I was noticing more definition developing in my forearms that I never had before. Now, as a strength and conditioning coach, I've learned the value in training opposing muscles with balance. This is an idea we incorporate in any other muscle group in the body; why not forearms? I've seen no other implements that train the extensors as simplistically or effectively as HandXBand. This is a must-have for your gym bag. Buy them right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great durable product I use mine daily and have had for about 2 months now and still looks and feels like new. I even left it in my pocket and it was washed and dried and still works fine and is showing no signs of wear and tare. Also my elbow soreness has gone away and my grip strength is increasing it seems like daily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME PRODUCT I don't know what product everyone else got but my pair of heavy x bands have worked great for nearly 2 years going strong. I use them 4 times a week at least along with my #2 CoC and armaid. It's the best thing for elbows and forearms since the theraband twist bar and a rice bucket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Medium X band I bought this product about a month ago and it already has broken. In between the thumb and the pinky.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good design, but not adequate resistance for strong hands. I thought they would be an upgrade from my IronMind Expand-Your-Hand Bands, which don't allow full extension, as they're just circular, so will fly off your hands if you open them all the way. However, 2/5 IronMind bands offer more resistance than the "Heavy" Hand X Band . I don't even use one IronMind at a time anymore, but unlike those, Hand X Bands can't be combined. Additionally, the Hand X Bands are significantly more expensive, and don't even come in pairs, which results in a waste of time during workouts unless you pay twice as much. I kept them, because they're still useful for my small wife, but I am not impressed with the value. With more strengths, in a cheaper multi-pack designed for both hands at once, with a lower price per band, this could be a 5-star product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as durable as desired. I purchased these a little over a month ago after being dissatisfied with the Alpha Grips, which are extremely similar. At first I loved the material and the comfort of the band. And, for what it’s worth, I thought they looked nice, too. As with the Alpha Grips, I used the lightest band every other day for three sets of ten. With the Alpha Grips, I was able to get approximately three months of use from them before the rubber started to deteriorate to the point that I didn’t feel it was safe to use them. With the X Band I only got two weeks worth of use out of them before the band started to tear in between the finger holes, completely negating the reason I got them as a hopefully more durable replacement for the Alpha Grips. I have been using these bands to rehabilitate atrophy in one arm due to injury and feel like they were working well before the year appeared. I now can’t use them for fear of the band breaking under tension and further injuring my hand and forearm. It should be noted that I stored the bands in a bag out of the sunlight and extreme temperatures and still had tearing after approximately 7 uses at the previously mentioned rate and reps. I haven’t used the heavier bands because I needed to work my way up them but now I can’t even do that. This product has definitely been a disappointment after a promising start.
