This thing is awesome. Super stable, well made. Use it for box squats, step ups, barbell and dumbbell rows. Incredible addition

It does nothing more than sit on your flip down safeties. If you are looking for it to do anything more (use as spotter platform or target for med balls) you are $#!+ out of luck. I will probably sell mine and pick up one from another company that has more versatility. And the price is horrible for what you get too.

I really like this utility seat. It's well made and I use it for a variety of exercises, including reverse hypers with a DIY pad I built to use with this. I have a RM3-Fortis power rack and I used another company's 1" flip down safeties to mount this seat on. The construction quality of this seat is excellent, and it will stand up to an enormous amount of abuse. Reverse hypers, seal rows, step ups, loading medleys, sandbag/atlas loading... the list goes on. Complaint: This has nothing to do with the seat --> measure your rack and wait to mount it to the floor! I realized that my welded RM3-Fortis was not perfectly aligned. It's close, but off by a millimeter or two in terms of being perfectly straight. That means that I had to completely de-mount the rack from my platform and re-bore holes before I could use this seat because the width between the uprights was too narrow. It was a pain. The depth of the uprights wasn't perfect either; not 30" as advertised (mine was 29.7"), which made use of the flip down safeties difficult, and they are necessary because Rogue doesn't manufacture them. Summary: I had to buy third-party flip down safeties for my 30" depth rack to use this, and my rack depth wasn't as advertised. My rack is scratched and scuffed now, but the setup works and I get a lot of use out of the seat. It would have been nice if this was a 'drop in' upgrade, but it was worth the work.
