Both the 30" depth RM-3 Fortis rack and the 43" depth RM-4 Fortis are manufactured in the USA, and ship with a set each of Monster J-cups, Pin/Pipe Safeties, and Band Pegs. Every pin position on the uprights and the bottom crossmembers is identified with a laser cut number, allowing an easy visual when setting J-cups and safeties to identical heights. A wide range of compatible, Monster accessories are also available.

Pull-Up Bar Options:

  • Monster Fat/Skinny Bar: Crossmember that spans the middle of the panels. Black powder coat finish.
  • Monster Single Skinny Bar: Installs on the front of the rack, and a Monster 43" beam with gusset connects the back of the panels. Black powder coat finish.

The Perfect Rack For Me
After having an RM4 for a little over two years that was bolted to my 8’ x 8’ platform I chose to “downgrade” to the RM3 Fortis. Spending hundreds of training sessions on the RM4 I came to realize the 43” depth is overkill and then some for me. The extra rack space was not worth the limited deadlift space on the platform. The RM3 Fortis 30” depth is still more than enough to squat with and the extra deadlift space has been incredible. The welded uprights are also very easy to move around and make assembly much easier. Not to mention it is even more sturdy than my RM4 was. I think if you have a garage gym, will bolt your rack to a platform, and train for general strength or powerlifting this is the perfect power rack.

best rack around
i have used this rack for 2 years and found it to be simple outstanding. i have a small garage gym so i chose the RM-3 instead of the RM-4 . my wife and i use the rack for different purposes, i compete in multiply Powerlifting so i needed a rack that was built like a tank and could be equipped with mono-lift attachments and safety straps. my wife is a climber so she needed one that could host a myriad of pull up options. we both required a rack that would support recovery/rehab attachments. the RM-3 did all of this perfectly, not to mention the shipping was fast and reasonable and the assembly was easy. i rate this rack 5 stars for the following reasons 1. shipping and assembly, easy. 2. versatility, nearly limitless. 3. space saving without compromising utility. 4. price point allows for quality mods. 5. like most monster racks this could become a gym in itself if neccessary.

10/10 Worth every penny!
I purchased this rack 8 months ago during “Matte Black November” and I couldn’t be happier about my purchase. Once bolted down or weighed down this thing does not budge. The welds on it are clean and the black powder coat finish looks great. I decided to not bolt my rack down and instead use four 12” plate storage pins with a set of York Legacy plates. The look of the black plates and black rack are sleek and one of my favorite things about my set up. Another thing I love is with band pegs and a set of bands the rack can be used for practically any exercise you can think of because of the 1’ holes being on every side of the rack including the crossbeams. One of my favorite exercises using the rack and a band are seated hamstrings curls. I’ve also been able to do facepulls, Bicep curls, pushdowns, rows, lateral raises and plenty others just using the rack and a band. One of the biggest drawbacks I hear about getting a heavy duty rack like this is the price, but in my opinion the RM-3 Fortis Rack is completely worth the value and will absolutely retain its value for many years to come if I ever choose to sell my rack somewhere down the line. Not that I am planning to that though because this thing is amazing and I love using it on a daily basis. 10/10 would buy again without question!

TANK
I bought this due to the environment regarding covid19. This is a tank and will low for the 50 cal arms. The welded crossmembers is a strucural flaw as i can only scre 2 out of the 3 holes to anchor. Also i will not be able to add a slinger with weight plates due to the members as well. Thats why its getting 4 out of 5, but overall pleased structurally sound. I would recommend getting the rm3 instead of fortis due to the welded crossmembers

Just plain perfect..
Holy moly! This is the one! Talk about a rack that will last a lifetime.. and then some. Super sturdy, and just the right amount of space inside. Welds for rigidity, and Monster size and strength for all of the strongest add-ons. Stickers are crooked, but who really gives a dang?! 5-stars!

Love it!
Did a lot of research into racks and decided on the Rogue RM-3 Fortis. I wanted the top braces at the very top of the uprights (flush). Many even Rogue non-monster racks don't go flush to the top. Going flush adds height inside the cage for overhead lift clearance and looks nicer. I also wanted welded sides not bolt together and 30" inside spacing so decided on the RM-3 Fortis. I opted to have safety straps instead of the pin-pipe, great decision in my opinion, very versatile and easy to set height. As it is a strap you can have one end higher then the other for precise height of safety and to roll the bar away in a fail. Think things through for safety, you don't want it rolling towards you, so plan/practice failure thoroughly with any safety device before lifting. I also opted for the sandwich J-cup's, I am very happy with them. I do wish Rogue made weight storage closer to the rack for less wasted space. I fabricated my own that is 13" between uprights 3'x3" rogue upright I used 2"x3" for the storage, storage pin centered on 3" side. This saves space and my 45lb plates in rack and on storage don't come in contact with this spacing. Rogue shipped my rack, bench and bar out on the same pallet, arrived in a very timely manner and well packaged. All my equipment from Rogue is top notch quality and I am very pleased with their service. One of my safety strap brackets was missing two plastic protectors and they shipped the items to remedy asap. Rogue is a great company!
