Rogue Bolt-Together R-3 Power Rack

Bolt-Together Version of the Classic Westside Barbell Rack

The Bolt-Together Rogue R-3 Rack features the same 2x3” 11-gauge steel uprights (90” tall), 5/8” hardware, and Westside hole spacing as the standard R-3, but with a set-up optimized for shipping to an APO address and/or more easily maneuvering into a training space with a tight staircase or low ceiling.

As part of the Rogue Infinity R-Series, the R-3BT offers superior durability and versatility in a compact frame: 24” inside depth, 53” x 34” footprint. This makes the unit equally well suited to large-scale pro and college facilities as well as small garage gyms. A 43” Fat/Skinny Pull-Up Bar, along with sets of Infinity J-Cups, Pin/Pipe Safeties, and Band Pegs, are included with the package. You can make multiple custom additions to your order using the choices from the drop down menu on this page.

Important: This rack must be bolted to the floor before use.

Key Features of the R-3BT Rack:

  • 1Bolt-Together Design

Rather than using fully-welded side panels, which can create some shipping and portability challenges for some gyms, the Rogue Bolt-Together R-3 gives customers an alternative option for adding a top-tier American-made power rack to their training space. The R-3BT can be shipped efficiently to an APO address, transported by component around tight corners and staircases, and set up easily using the provided instructions and hardware.

  • 2Small Footprint

As the most compact member of the R-Series, this unit fits easily into most home gyms and garage gyms, or into a tight corner of a larger training facility. The standard construction stands 7’6” tall with an inside depth of 24” and a total footprint of just 53” x 34”. Customers can also select an alternative version with an increased depth of 30” for a small price difference.

  • 3Heavy Gauge American Steel and Hardware

The R-3BT is built in Columbus, Ohio, using 2x3” 11-gauge steel uprights with 5/8" diameter, laser-cut holes and heavy-duty hardware. The unit is compatible with a wide assortment of Rogue Infinity Series attachments and accessories.

  • 4Compatible with Infinity Products

Owners of the R-3 Rack can customize their system with the addition of a wide range of compatible tools and accessories. Along with adding a bar, bench, or plates to your order, you can expand the power rack itself with the inclusion of a Rogue Matador, Vertical Bar Hanger, Multi-Grip Crossmember, and more.

  • 5Package Includes Everything to Get Started

Even without custom additions, the Bolt-Together Rogue R-3 Rack comes with all of the hardware and basic accessories necessary to have a pro-caliber power rack at your disposal. This includes all necessary 5/8” bolts and fasteners; a 43” Fat/Skinny Pull-Up Bar (with 1.25” and 2” diameter bars), (2) Infinity J-Cups, (2) Pin/Pipe Safeties, and (4) Band Pegs.

Rogue Bolt-Together R-3 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built to last! I purchased this rack about two months ago and I can honestly say its worth the extra money vs its competitors such as the similar Titan fitness t3. Its quality materials and excellent finish really show. It was very easy to install and I went for the bolt together version for two reasons. 1- I got the longer length option and that gives you plenty of space to do any sort of squats, chest, anything inside the rack. And 2- due to the height of my Garage it gave me more options to adjust how hight the pull up bar/supports could Be placed. Definitely anchor it into the ground it can move a bit with a decent amount of weight such as when re racking heavy squats but once i bolted it down it was solid. I can tell this rack is going to last the tests of time. I am extremely happy with this purchase and recommend it to everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for I purchased the 30" depth variant and am so pleased with the item quality. I put it together solo, easily and I'm a complete dingbat. Times like these, when all the gyms are closed, I am so glad I invested in my long-term health with a QUALITY home-gym and am grateful for a superior, reliable product. I fully anticipate being able to pass this down to my son some day. As long as this excellence continues, I'm more than happy to pay the premium price, nothing bums me out more than contributing to the landfill after a few years of normal use. I was definitely influenced to go Rogue because this is made in America and want to support LOCAL jobs and manufacturing and reward good craftsmanship. I don't have any pictures of it yet, but I also bought 2x PIN weight storage bars for the front uprights, they're also great and super helpful when working in confined spaces. Next up, matador!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn’t get any better! Bought this about a month ago for my 8’x12’ garage gym and couldn’t be happier with it. I got the 30” depth which is plenty of room for everything I’d need to do in it. Easy to bolt together, and managed to cut away horse stall mats and secure the feet to the concrete without too much hassle. The rack is solid as a rock now, and I can’t wait to start adding accessories on to it. This is more than enough for most home gyms, and I really can’t recommend it enough. The quality is extremely good, and I am SO glad I didn’t try to settle for a less reputable brand... Don’t be cheap, buy this rack and you’ll never regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Rack Purchased for my home basement gym and mounted to a wooden platform I built. Rack is solid and clearly well built. Everything assembled easily and fit together perfectly. I debated between the bolt together and regular. The bolt together worked really well for me as I had to move the components down to the basement alone and around a fairly tight corner. One person can assemble this rack with a step stool and a little patience. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the small garage My garage has an 8 foot ceiling height which made me put a lot of thought into my rack selection. If you want to be able to do pull-ups in your rack and not want to smash your head into the ceiling, I reccomend the bolt together r-3 over the regular one because it gives you the ability to adjust the pull-up bar height. I am 6'1 with longer than average length arms. With my 8 foot ceiling and my rack on top of a .75" stall mat, I have my pull-up bar bolted one hole space down from the standard height. This makes it high enough so my knees don't touch the ground, but also low enough that just my hair touches the ceiling at the absolute highest part of a chin-up. The photos attached show me hanging from the bar in case I didn't explain well. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. In 4 months, there has not been a single issue. The safety bars are pretty clumsy to adjust so I opted to use the spotter arms instead for quick adjustments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 30" version review My GF and I purchased the 30" R3 BT during Black Friday 2017. The quality is great, everything fits together perfect, all pieces were included, no damage, the welds finished nicely, etc etc. Basically everything positive in other reviews holds true. I'll try and mention things I never read in other reviews, especially regarding the 30" model. We decided to buy the Bolt Together version in order to get the 30" upgrade. We ALMOST got the Monster Lite (RML-390F) version instead with the 2 long feet (also 30")...but originally planned to have this thing directly on concrete. Unfortunately our concrete is very uneven with many cracks and the 2 long feet seemed difficult to level. One with 4 separate feet and shims seemed the best option, so we started looking at the regular R3. Since my GF and I sometimes lift at the same time, we wanted to be able to have a set up where we could both be using loaded/racked barbells. We considered getting the regular welded R3 and putting it in the middle of the garage and using both sides...but that cut off pullup height due to beams and a garage door motor. It also cut off our Olympic Lifting space. So....we spent a few days doing complex math...and figured out there was probably enough room for two people to lift at once on this 30" version while against a wall, and bought it. Once received, we put it together no problem. Easier with two, but one could do it. It lifts and moves around fairly easy with only two people. It's very easy to set upright, then back horizontal again if needed. We tested the two squatting at a time theory and IT WORKS! She can squat inside the rack with a loaded bar, and I can have mine set up on the opposite side, outside the uprights. If we roll my bar to the outer edge of the J-Cups, it's plenty of room if she's careful and takes a small step. It's 18" between plates. See attached pic. All in all, I am very happy with this rack. I lag bolted it to my platform. We made the platform because the floor was so cracked and uneven. I cut and laid multiple layers of roofing felt (tar paper) to even it out best I could, then built the platform on top. The platform is 2 layers of 5/8" OSB, and one layer of 3/4" AC plywood/stall mats...for 2" total thickness. It's 8'x10' rectangle. I used twelve 2.5" x 1/2" lag bolts. The feet of this rack are 3/8" thick, and I used 2x 1/8" thick washers per bolt, so the 2.5" lag bolts go almost all the way through the 2" platform. I followed advice on another R3 review and assembled the rack, leaving all bolts loose, bolted down the feet first, then tightened up all cross members last. I would recommend doing the opposite...tightening all cross members down before bolting to ground. My platform has about a 1/16" convex bow in it, in the middle of the rack, and moves when stepped on. I theorize that when bolting the cross members together after the feet were fastened down, it pulled the feet together slightly, creating an uplift or warping of the platform? Seems, crazy, but possible. Also, the uprights measure slightly different distances from each other, depending where you measure (up high or down low). I think I could have avoided these issues if I bolted the entire rack together nice and tight before bolting to ground/platform. Regardless, 12 lag bolts into a 2" platform has this thing feeling solid. No worries there in my opinion, and I aggressively slam my bars into the J cups. With a flat floor, I'd consider getting the RML-390F instead, just because it's a bit more modular, easier to deal with, and about the same price. If you want 4 feet and 30", the R3 BT is the one. All in all, a badass rack, worth the upgrade to the 30" especially if sharing with a homie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid I received the rack pretty quickly considering the season, ~2.5 weeks. The set up was easy and this rack feels really solid. I bought this because I change cities a lot and was hoping that the tear down and set up would be relatively painless. So far, so good.
