AbMat Hip Thrust Pad

The AbMat Hip Thrust Pad is specifically designed to address the unique safety and stability requirements of the hip thrust movement. If you’ve been using makeshift solutions like rolled mats or neck pads for this purpose up to now, it’s high time to upgrade.

Manufactured in the USA and available here with exclusive Rogue branding, this patent-pending design features multi-layered well technology that creates a more even distribution of the bar’s weight and better protects the pelvis in the process. The flexibility of the foam pad also results in a more comfortable hinge and thrust for the user and greater overall stability, as the pad snugly pinches the bar between the hip and thigh through each rep.

Each AbMat Hip Thrust Pad measures 18" x 9" x 1.75" and includes a black Cordura outer to protect the padding on both sides. The top of the pad has a harder surface to take the bulk of the pressure and weight of the bar, while the bottom side has considerably more give and softness for the athlete’s comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pad for hip thrusts! I’ve been using the barbell pad for a while, nothing against it, but this abmat pad gives me the stability and comfort the barbell pad didn’t. I can enjoy more the thrust just focusing on the muscles and loading the barbell. I appreciate the note as well from Dylan, awesome touch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a must have Had this for about two months, much better than any other pads I have used for this exercise. No pinching of hips and pad stays in place

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get this! Hip thrusts were so uncomfortable before I got this pad, now I can load up the bar without crushing my pelvis. This is a must IMO if you are doing barbell hip thrusts as it not only provides padding but also distributes the weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fulfills it's intended purpose It does what it is supposed to do. It is a simple design, yet functional and provides for a comfortable experience doing hip thrusts. It's not imperative that you have one of these to do hip thrusts, but the alternative is make-shift solutions that vary from uncomfortable and not stable, to something that you make do with. This takes the guess work out of it and ensures comfort and ease of operation. Probably a little over-priced for what it is, but I still consider it a value given it offers a sure solution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid protection! Bought this as an alternative to the standard round pad and very happy to say it works really well! The flexible hard plate does a really good job distributing the weight and softening the pressure points. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs to affix to the bar The advantage of using a squat roller pad is that it’s already on the bar and there’s less fussing around to get it in position so minus 1 star there and it’s expensive for what it is so that’s the other. In concept it’s great for the first version of it but could use a few upgrades.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Make them wider for wider hip people Make them wider for wider hip people 24" maybe width is fine but it simply isnt lengthy enough for me my hips are wider than 16" and the weight creases at the end of my hips where it hurts most i would need 2 of these next to eachother to make it work but then it would be awkward movement and would probably fall apart mid set just create sizes for this.
