Kabuki Kadillac Bar

The Kabuki Strength Kadillac Bar is manufactured in Ohio by Rogue Fitness and now comes standard with knurled handles and a Bright Zinc finish. Customers can also choose to upgrade to our Proprietary Matte Black sleeve finish, which uses a process that effectively transforms the surface of the steel rather than coating it, greatly increasing the sleeves’ long-term corrosion resistance and color endurance (this upgrade comes with black mounting hardware).

Cambered to the same angle as Kabuki’s Duffalo Bar, the Kadillac Bar is a specialty neutral grip / football bar that enables a full range of motion, with convenient rackability on any standard power rack (40.5” to 52.5”). The bar includes 1.33” diameter handles spaced 15.3”, 22.3”, and 29.2” apart, with 10°, 12.5°, and 15° grip angles. The variability of handle placement and angles offers countless variations in exercises and progressions, and also promotes optimal, stacked joint position and improved movement mechanics.

Athletes can utilize the Kadillac Bar in both standard and reverse grip positions, and the precision-machined, zinc-plated sleeves (with 16.7” loadable length) enable the use of regular barbell collars. The sleeves are also removable, reducing the overall shipping cost. A 9/16” wrench and 7/32” hex key are included for easy assembly.

While the Kadillac Bar is primarily a bench press / neutral grip football barbell, it can also be used for curls, skull crushers, rows, and more.

*Please Note: The optional Proprietary Matte Black metal treatment process also hardens the steel, which can cause some additional friction with plates that have a chamfer.

Key Features of the Kadillac Bar

Multiple Knurled Handles

Now manufactured by Rogue Fitness, the new Kadillac Bar includes a set of (6) 1.33” diameter handles spaced at 15.3”, 22.3”, and 29.2” apart. Combined with the cambered design of the bar, this creates three different angles for hand positioning, at 10°, 12.5°, or 15°. Along with enabling more types of exercises and progressions, this variation in grip options also promotes optimal, stacked joint position and improved movement mechanics for athletes of any size or experience level.

Beneficial Cambered Design

The 1/4” laser-cut frame of the Kadillac Bar is cambered or angled in the same manner as the Kabuki Duffalo Bar, and similarly can help reduce stress on the shoulders, biceps, and back, while enabling scapular retraction and superior joint centration. In the form of a multi-grip bar, the camber also improves stability and opens up a greater range of motion when the athletes uses the outer handles for exercises like the bench or rows.

Two Sleeve Finish Options

The precision-machined sleeves of the Kadillac Bar are available in your choice of either our Bright Zinc finish or our premium Proprietary Matte Black finish. The PMB option utilizes a process that effectively transforms the surface of the steel rather than coating it, greatly increasing the sleeves’ long-term corrosion resistance and color endurance. Black hardware is included with the Matte Black sleeves for mounting to the frame. Please Note: The Proprietary Matte Black metal treatment process also hardens the steel, which can cause some additional friction with plates that have a chamfer.

Perfect Bar, Terrible Customer Service
I have been a long‑time Rogue customer and have consistently invested in their equipment due to the company’s reputation for high manufacturing standards. My recent experience with the Kabuki Kadillac Bar, however, combined with a series of defects across multiple prior orders, revealed a concerning decline in both quality control and customer service flexibility. Across several purchases, I encountered defects that required separate resolutions: • SS Ohio Power Bar — Damage on arrival. • Bench Prop — Manufactured without the hitch‑pin hole, rendering it unusable. • Ultimate Dip Attachment — Sharp paint burrs, paint inconsistencies, and colour variation. • Indy T‑Bar Row — Discolouration and paint inconsistencies. (Frame is cracking; I’ll be bringing this up to Rogue). • Wheel Kit — Loose tolerances preventing proper installation. All of these issues occurred since June 3, 2026. Today is Aug 5, 2026. Each issue was addressed individually, but the cumulative pattern demonstrated a clear decline in quality control and placed a repeated burden on me as the customer. The Kadillac Bar itself was manufactured to a high standard. The bar was structurally perfect and met all expectations. The issue arose with one of the sleeves, which arrived with visible rust. Rogue provided replacement sleeves; however, the replacements arrived without end caps, a basic oversight that should have been caught during inspection. When I reported this, I was instructed to remove the end caps from the original sleeves and install them onto the replacements using snap‑ring pliers. At no point was I informed that the replacements might require part‑swapping, and this expectation is not appropriate for a premium specialty bar purchased new. In an effort to keep the bar — because the bar itself was perfect — I proposed several practical, cost‑neutral solutions: • Swap bright zinc sleeves for black sleeves to match my incoming Transformer Bar. Denied. • Purchase black sleeves at a discounted rate, without requesting any credit. Denied. • Keep the replacement bright zinc sleeves, receive the pliers, and receive a small goodwill credit to acknowledge the inconvenience. Denied. These proposals were measured, reasonable, and directly responsive to the situation. Given the documented pattern of defects across my recent orders, the refusal to meet me halfway was the most concerning aspect of the entire experience. I did not keep or use the Kadillac Bar. I attempted to find a workable path to retain it, but every proposed solution was declined. Despite the repeated defects across multiple orders, Rogue did not offer any goodwill credit or acknowledgement of the inconvenience. Because Rogue declined all reasonable alternatives, I elected to return the Kadillac Bar and all associated sleeves. The bar is now packed and ready to be returned. The bar itself demonstrated excellent craftsmanship. Kudos to the team. The customer service experience did not. I have always respected Rogue’s brand and have invested significantly in their equipment. However, the combination of repeated quality control issues and the refusal to meet me halfway on a straightforward resolution ultimately led me to return a bar I genuinely wanted to keep. This experience did not reflect the standard I have come to expect from Rogue, and it will be highly relevant to any customer considering this product.

Great bar, get it if you have shoulder issues!
Older lifter with rear shoulder pain on bench for the past couple of years, harder to lift as heavy (in a good way) but can focus on my chest now, not the pain in my back!

Game changer for shoulder injuries
Absolutely love this bar! Have had shoulder injuries and skier’s thumb repair so pressing heavy can be challenging. This completely changed that. No shoulder pain and the neutral grip and grip size alleviate the grip issues.

Kabui Bar Review
It’s a useful bar but expensive for what it is. You’re paying extra to have KABUKI lazer cut down the side. That’s all fine and good because it does look cool. What bothers me is that even when fully assembled and secured there’s a rattle. It’s just not that solid.
