Product Description

Machine calibrated for next-level precision, these durable cast-iron KG plates are accurate to within 10g in weight. Each disc is cut thin to allow for max loading capacity (up to 700+ KG) and color-coded for easy identification from a distance. The back of each plate includes calibration plugs (lead on smaller plates, brass on plates 5LB and up) for an ever greater level of precision. These plates feature a 50mm center hole for a snug fit on your barbell, and as a result may not fit on some cheaper barbells not held to spec. Love the accuracy

I started working out a CrossFit gym across the street from my work and they used KG instead of pounds. It didn’t take long to appreciate the efficiency of using metric versus imperial weight plate denominations. When it I outfitted my own gym I went with calibrated weights as I appreciate the accuracy of each plate and knowing exactly how much I lifted each set. Also it is nice to be able to see at a glance the different weights. On the bar they feel very solid, very little movement at all. The one thing they are lacking is simply better paint. Powder coating is too basic and one would expect a leader like Rogue to use Cerakote on their top of line flagship products.

Beyond happy

Super happy with these…I’ve seen some posts about them showing up damaged/chipped but mine showed up flawlessly. I only got a pair of the 25kg and 2 pair of the 20kg just to make sure I thought it’d be worth it to buy more, but I’m definitely pulling the trigger on the bundle set. These fit snug on the bar, and look/feel amazing…I threw on 245 to bench(90kg plus a 45 pound Ohio Bar from Rogue) since I didn’t have a spotter to throw the other pair of 20kg’s on…it just felt more smooth and and balanced. Love my York plates but they’re definitely going to become beater plates now. 10/10 would recommend.

Plate came damaged

Let me start out by saying I’m a huge fan of Rogue and hold their equipment to a really high standard. I recently made a decent sized order and for the most part every thing came in great with the exception of minor scratches on the rack which doesn’t bother me. However one of the 25kg plates I ordered had a little chunk of the number “5” missing. Not the biggest deal, it still basically weighs the same, but I would have hoped all the plates at least came identical and with no deformities this noticeable. I still believe that this is just a rare mishap and doesn’t represent Rogue’s quality.
