Product Description

Machine calibrated for next-level precision, these durable cast-iron LB plates are accurate to within 10 grams in weight. Each disc is cut thin to allow for max loading capacity (up to 1500+LB) and color-coded for easy identification from a distance. The back of each plate includes calibration plugs (lead on smaller plates, brass on plates 5LB and up) for an ever greater level of precision. A 50MM center hole is designed for a snug fit on a standard barbell, and as a result, may not fit on some cheaper barbells not held to spec.

In for treat, these feel like 55 lb plates
First time calibrated plate purchase, actually weighs 44.6 lb on my weight scale, but feels like a 55lb one. be warned though these things are slim and not easily gripped

I love accurate plates
I bought some used ones of these a year ago and I had to add another pair. I love having accurate plates, I would like to compete one day but becuase of the used plates I have, I bought into this set already I will continue to get what I need. The plates are accurate and look great. The finish does wear more than I would like them too but I'm okay with the used look. Overall I plan to purchase more when I need too.
Yes, I recommend this product

Calibrated Lb Steel Plates
Love these plates. Bought them to use with the “ stump “ barbell and they work great. The only reason I didn’t rate them a 5 star is because they’re expensive and when I unpacked them they all have small nicks in the painted finish . The cardboard packaging that they use does not protect them getting nicks / gashes in the plates.

Nice looking plates
Just got a pair of 45s. Love the plates. I won’t give a 5 because they came a little scuffed up. I understand that over time I would scuff them up anyway but I’d like to at least have that new crisp look for a bit.

paint problems
Overall these are nice plates. They fit snugly on the bar. The paint is easy to chip off however. The majority of the plates already had voids on arrival so I was a bit disappointed at quality given the price point

Hot plates
I'd say these plates look good, but that wouldn't be doing them justice. These plates are hot. Lets be honest, I don't think most people buy these because of they can't make gains without plates that have a 10g weight tolerance. We pay absurd amounts because we enjoy the finer things. Some people talk about the paint coming off, realistically, these plates are either going to be in my hands, on a plate tree or laying flat on another plate of the same kind on a loading pin for grip stuff. I bought them for putting on a vertical loading pin to do grip stuff and there is a definite tradeoff between the absolute hotness of the plates and the significant impracticality of stacking them and unstacking them. For me it's a no-brainer that how they look is worth this impracticality. It's not a big deal but at this price, you should know that you're sacrificing ease of stacking and unstacking on a vertical loading pin for plate hotness. Stacking two identical plates that way is something you have to do carefully to not pinch yourself. You do need to be focused. And unstacking two identical plates is quite difficult but doable if your loading pin is just a bit thinner than a barbell sleeve. You push them sideways in different directions and because of the slack in the pin, you can barely get under the top plate to unstack. And for my use, I only see myself putting 2 25's then I can add 10's up to 150 which is way above my current Rolling Grip Thing PR of 95. And if I have just 2 25's, I can lift up the two at the same time and save myself the trouble of separating them.
