Does not fit properly
This is the second item that I order from rogue with the same problem. First it was the spotter arms and now these J cups. The angle that is welded to go around the rack is way to tight and won't sit properly on one of the cups. Disappointing

Move too much
These move side to side way too much. Scratching up the nice finish on my rack. I prefer the cheap cups that came with the rack.

Nice J-cups
Bought these to upgrade from regular j-cups which are adequate but wide seat. These are better for me - I really appreciate them when I bench press and can see more of the bar.

As advertised
Glad I upgraded, the normal j cups are good, these are way better. More stable and better for the bar.

Absolutely necessary!
I'll keep it short. 1. They're thinner so better Re racking clearance and those who like to place hands near the barbell shoulder doing wide gripping exercises. 2. Protection on all sides for missed Re racks or failed reps. 3. They swing out nicely to cradle my 3in diameter branch bar when using Viking Landmine press. (Over 300lb on just one end of axle at times. (don't try with regular barbells they will bend) 4. Can slide the bar nicely or spin to get into position. Not too overly grippy.material. 5. Those 15+ scratches my Ohio bar WOULD HAVE HAD if I hadn't purchased these 10 months ago. (I use original j cups for storage or bench negatives using monolift. Negative, lay bar on safety arms. Load up empty bar on monolift and repeat) see my adjustable monolift review ...having 2 pairs of J's is useful!

Much better than SML-1 J-cups
These are excellent J-cups and should be standard issue with the SML-1 squat stands. Rogue should raise the price of the SML-1 slightly to cover the cost of adding the Monster LIte Sandwich J-cups, if necessary, but they should be standard. The cups that came with the SML-1 are not good cups.

Great for the squat position
This makes it easy to re-rack squats in 49 inch racks without hitting the j-cups with the barbell collars. The j-cups swinging can be fixed by putting 2-3 layers of UHMW tape on the inside contact points (except for the side contact point, one layer will do there). This closes the gap between the j-cup and the uprights, making them sit very snugly depending on how many layers you use.

An upgrade with benefits
Well-designed, attractive, and functional. The extra room these give you for your bar sleeves at the rack is nice. With the regular j-cups, racking the bar doesn't afford much tolerance in room to avoid hitting your sleeves, but these are narrower in design and therefore add just the right amount of extra space to easily rack the bar. I hesitated for a long time to purchase these due to the cost versus my perceived benefit, but glad I got them and highly recommend them.
